Neat map! I think five lines was perfect - four would have been way too strict, and six would have been very comfortable and a conventional big map scenario. Five made for a nice organizational challenge.

High score was 3163 which was pretty good, but the highscores being 4000+ looked pretty reasonable given the spawn rate. I never felt like I "didn't have enough resources", more that "I wasn't using these resources quite efficiently enough", which is a good kind of problem to have.

I was expecting a curveball city far northwest, on either the southwest or northeast side of Onondaga Lake, but it never happened. Maybe it happens very late in the sequence.
