@halfdead, the workshop is made to work with the in game mod system in other worlds, with the GAME system of addons and changes,

this mod is not a mod to the game itself its a reshade that use a external program, since it snot working with the game mod system it can't work with workshop.

Starting to find More and More mods that need you do go to Offsite locations just to get them working... The Workshop was made to make things easy, Why dose no one sort all of this in a way that makes it Easy like IDK the mod working so all we need to do is download This mod?

But really tho how do I even get mods working on steam deck.
I can only use the Work Shop as Nexus an other modding sites send me though a such a spiral as I need to go though all my files just to find a mod that's just gonna sit there due to me not even knowing what i'm doing.

People need to make this stuff easy for those of us that have No idea what we're doing. I'm not a Tech Guy. I'm a Nimrod.

LongPants, it's a risk you take when you use mods like this.
This mod directly overwrites many important files to do with the game that aren't typically supported for modding so there is a chance of you might get VAC banned if you're not careful.

as much as i understood i got reshade and the .ini file and used it with reshade on l4d2 thats all yes?

why my does not work

you can turn off Perfect Perspective & Eye Adaptation in the settings of Reshade, that's what gives the fish eye lens effect
