Good idea, but I think the massive arrow is a little intrusive. Any chance you could just make it a dot? 3x3 or 2x2 pixels or so. Customizeable would be even better, but IK that's asking a lot. In any case, thanks for the mod!

Would it be possible to make the interpolation take into account player movement or disable it altogether in the config? When I'm running across the map it lags behind and feels weird.

Comigo tambem acontece isso, o acontece algo a mais. Quando aparece um npc lumberjack do fargos, ele começa a atacar um item que fica mudando o bioma o tempo todo e trava o jogo todo. so que so acontece isso com o mod do cursor ativado no multiplayer como o Dragon falou

Just confirmed, it happens when I host through Steam as well. Btw, this wasn't an issue before the update to TML.

Yes, every world I entered, new, old, as long as I ran it on a server with those two mods, the circle of corruption appeared. didn't matter if I made a new character either. Just Fargo's, fine. Just Cursor Indicator, fine. Once combined, it just immediately spawns the corruption. Note, in singleplayer it's fine. Couldn't test in Steam Multiplayer, as the server never would start (part of why I am using a dedicated server on my pc in the first place), but once I did load in on the server, it happened. Nothing once I disabled Cursor Indicator.

While using this mod, I've encountered an issue where whenever I spawn in on a dedicated server I launched on my computer (using the server files that comes included with TML), a circle of corruption, around 150 blocks of radius, spawns at my spawn point. This happens whenever I play with Fargo's Mutant Mod. I can confirm this, as I had ONLY Fargo's and Cursor Indicator loaded up, and it happened.

This update really is the best one yet. The center of the pointer used to be off center relative to the center of the screen, after one year this has changed. Thank you!!!

Why is the cursor attached to the camera instead of the player? it breaks whenever you are using mods that makes the camera not always be centralized on the character.

指示位置和鼠标不一样的原因是ui的缩放倍率没有调到100%导致的错位,各位将ui倍率调整至100%就能发现这个mod能正常运行,当然作者也有写,可惜作者没有开发不同缩放倍率的指示器。

don't work on ui scales different from 100%. i don't see the problem to fix this bug, so until this bug exists - mod is bad.

I've noticed that the indicator sticks to the center of the screen, even when you're at the edge of the world where your character moves to the edge of the screen.

in theory this seems like just a cosmetic thing, but the issue i keep running into is that if i'm, for instance, submerged in lava at the bottom of the world, i keep losing track of where my character is, since i can't see myself and i tend to forget that the location of the indicator is not always the location of the character-- especially when i'm focusing on trying to get in and out of the lava quickly so i don't die.

The mod doesn't restrict it's logic to the window so if you are running a dual monitor setup the cursor will be misaligned unless you were to imagine your game stretched across both screens in which case it is aligned but not restricting itself to the window.

It's great but once you apply it with the mod "terraria overhaul", it becomes disoriented. I'd say if you make the cursor FOLLOW the character, it would be perfect!!! 😁😁

Seems to think that the player character is in a different position than where it actually is when using different UI scales. Indicator was moving as if my player was slightly left to the center of my screen at about 111% UI scale. Moving my cursor over to this spot also made the indicator fade out as if I was moving the cursor onto my player character.

1440p is definitely not working atleast with my scale, its pointing as if my mouse is up and left of where my cursor is, leaves this thing unusable for me

I've got to agree with the other dudes, having this be incompatible with other UI sizes and not scalable with the screen is a bit insane, not to sound passive-aggressive here. I use 125% because using a standard 1920x1080 monitor with the default UI size kinda sucks balls and also using a mod like Bigger Zoom to get precise numbers kinda fucks with that a bit as well—
