Wuth the FU update today, this is incompatible on a server I help with with. I am not the best with mod compatibility, but I've had a server for 2 years now.

Your mod is very much appreciated, and I see all the work you put in. We'd really love an update! :D

FU updated today, and something in it is conflicting with this patch. It shut down the whole server. We removed this patch for the time being and the server is back up, but, obviously this patch is non-functional now.

Is there a way you can update this to not give the outdated essences? With the new update to arcana this is giving materials no longer used by arcana. There in the files for some reason, but not used anymore.

I now see the error of my ways (and deleted my previous comment). By not using the Crusher/Sifter, I ended up wasting a lot of resources in FU. And now that I'm using them, I can process a lot of Arcana stuff using this mod. I just have to use the lab directory to look up where to put stuff. The centrifuge recipes seem to be broken though and barely produce anything, so I stick to the essence extractor for liquids. Also, there seems to be some materials with no processing recipes, like Geoelectra Stone, which might be something added in the latest Arcana update? Not sure. Anyway, thanks for this mod.

If you happen to want any suggestions.. I would suggest adding a Crusher/Sifter/Centrifuge/Extractor tag in the item description, kinda like how FU items have, to make it easier to know where to throw things? As I spend a lot of time looking up arcana materials in the lab directory now.

The mod works correctly, but don't be fooled by the image. Currently, the mod does not allow you to extract resources from solid materials, you can only extract from liquid materials, and even then there is a huge loss, compared to Arcana machines.

I suppose that as an alternative method it is fine, but I would like it to allow us to extract more than just essences from the liquids.

I tried the most common ones, such as earth, or stone. I also tried to recycle liquids.

I seem to be having a bit of an issue with this mod, not sure if it's just on my end but it happened kind of out of nowhere - at first, I was able to extract everything just fine, but in recent days I have become unable to extract any Arcana soils/rocks in any processing device.

Okay, I did get back around to testing it today... The Powder Sifter, Rock Crusher (level two extraction devices), Arc Smelter, and Precursor Forge do not process any of the materials from Arcana. I think it's safe to say those processors are unable to handle it in the current bugged state.

I did utilize many different dirt types in the crusher, from the basic arcane dirt all the way to Empyrian planet dirts and others from different star systems Arcana features. Same problem exists for the crusher from all different star systems in the second tier Rock Crusher. All ores are not processing through the Arc Smelter save for vanilla and FU ones as well.

@Tacos - I think it is safe to assume that the extraction devices are the exact same as those normally found in FU. Make sure to research the appropriate devices, and their research line should indicate what you use to make them.

Sounds good. I have tried a handful of Arcana materials from various solar system types, from Arcane, to Illuminated, and then some Superstorm materials, too. They work fine in the base versions of crushers and sifters, but not the upgraded ones nor the precursor forge. I'll double-check tonight, but I think that issue still persists.

I also should note that the Arc Smelter recipes don't work, either (I.E. smelting Arcanium ore to bars from that device). Perhaps that's a bug as well, if I had to guess. I will be sure to leave a follow-up to confirm if it's still an issue at this time.

Just writing in to provide notice that a lot of the blocks in question from Arcana that work with the base level sifters and crushers do not work with the precursor forge nor the upgraded forms of the rock breaker or wood sifter (the rock crusher and the powder sifter respectively). I would imagine this is a bug?

I know blocks like golden sand and highlands dirt work in the wooden sifter but they don't work in the powder sifter version, for instance.

Is there're no wiki about siftable / crushable / smeltable / extractable items? It's quite cumbersome to guess each type by name every time, and to directly compare and memorize what I get from what items and how much probability I get.

Heads up, Golden Sand and Seastone freeze the planet when put inside a precursor forge, essentially stopping processing of items with ITDs and other production machines until warping to ship and back.

And also i found an issue(?) - when i extract blocks from Desolate planets, it happen to extract Perfect Generated Item, along with other materials. Could it be a bug or an error in a mod or was mod designed to extract it?
