I like the concept, but it could do with some tweaks. Simplifying or removing some aspects would help make it less visually noisy (the stripes just seem to add clutter, for example), and I feel like the orange could be changed to a more pleasing and possibly more team-neutral color or shade.
You've got some serious potential here!

there is a bit much going on here, simplifying it a bit will help, and haveing a BLU variant would be nice.

Aside from making it more simple its a good idea to create a blu version too. Good concept.
