@tenny6 I don't think i manually made a nav mesh for this one. But if I'm not mistaken you should still be able to place a npc when in sanbox mode and have it work in gmod.

I'm afraid I can't help you other than suggesting that you'll have to make sure that you have hl2e2 and hl2 mounted in gmod (controller icon in the bottom right corner of the menu if I remember correctly).

I would recommend maybe making an Thing Map... But that would be large.

Well, it depends... Do you want the prequel, or the original thing? Also the alien in the film could disguise as people... So maybe Murder elements, with other things. Detectives get the VFire Flamethrower.

I kind of wished someone actually made a thing mod, but that thing would require weeks of coding to make, and I do not blame anyone for not even trying to make that heinous thing.

Insert VFire, an some sort of infection mod that you find here and there, and presto... The closest thing you can get to The Thing in Gmod.

I'd love to make a larger verison of this map. Unfortunately I don't have as much spare time as I'm used to (due to work etc.) So I wouldn't rely on it happening any time soon. ^^'

Excellent map! I enjoy the environment you have created, it masters the feeling of a winter base perfectly, Well done! I must request however the size of the map leaves me craving to see your worked expressed in a bigger environment, I hope you consider making more maps like this with a larger expanded winter base of the same design.

Combine this with the new vFire and vFlamethrower mods. It is wonderful

Lol! I'll just try uninstalling the wendigo horror map. But... If you've made maps, do you know LUA? If so, how could I access a command prompt thing to see what's going on/what sounds are playing? I can't seem to find that creepy sound in the sound browser addon.

It's unfortonately not originally featured in my map. If this problem presists please contact the nearest church for futher support.

I hear some pretty scary sounds a few minutes in to playing the map! Is this supposed to be in the map or is a different map interfering with this one? I first heard this specific sound when I played the Wendigo horror map. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, it sounds like someone talking backwards followed by a high pitched screech, then loops)

Amazing atmosphere in this map! With some NPCs this could feel straight out of "The Thing" from 1982! I might actually make a save off of that.

I have a HL2 only version of this map (which only requires GMOD). Check the description! :)

Any map that requires HL2 EP2 + CSS is not good for gmod, You have to remember your target audience is children.

They are all already activated. I bought and activated EP2 about 5 months ago.

Make sure that you have activated the games in the far down right in the main menu (the game controller button). Please tell if that fixed the problem. :)

Sounds like a gmod bug. Try to disable your addons and then restart gmod. After that, start gmod and enable the addons again and restart gmod once more.

It won't show up in my maps

ohh..... now I understand what I need,some textures were wrong,but now its somehow fixed.
