Well, perhaps. I'm not really very active in the modding community. Occasionally I post something that is usually an edit of somebody else's things.

I'm not a texture artist, so I don't think my work would be adequate on any of those suggestions. I suppose I could make his hair less grey in paint dot net ... as for the eyes, I don't think using default Eli eyes would work.

Well, I wish you'd improve 2 things:
1) Touch-up his appearence so that he looks 15 years younger (as he should).
2) Give him proper eyes. The current ones feel like he's distant and lifeless.There are plenty of mods that touch-up charater's eyes in boh Black Mesa and Half-Life 2, look for those.

in this case, just crowbar was needed, as the models were already separated into different .smd's for the head and body, but most of the time you'd need to use blender too. I am terrible at blender myself.

All I did was port it, but I can tell you a bit about the background of the face of Eli. He was actually a homeless man that valve hired, and never credited. He is to this day, unidentified. The model done for HL Alyx was based off the original scans from the first ones done for HL2.

I also appreciate this mod but it kinda feels off in comparison to the other humans, also those eyes stare at my soul
