I second what Hog said. Transmog 2.0 can do that and more. I could make one with transparency but see no need for it as I like the aesthetic.

@John you should download the mod "Fashionoid - Gear Transmog", you can then right-click the sling in your inventory and select the "Hide" option under the Transmog subtext menu. The weapon you have attached will still be displayed.

Could you do one that makes the slings transparent - I hate how they clip with outfits
