Exciting news-- I've been touching-up and polishing the map for Scream Fortress 2024 with changes including: end-round finale events, multiple Easter eggs, visual improvements, and addressing bug reports!

I'll have it out by the end of the month (with a video showcasing the new end-round finale events) :balloonicorn:

@Collisto - Powerhouse is symmetrical, Cowerhouse is as well--just asymmetrically themed, but the structure/layout is all identical.

Yeah. About them, I know a little bit about mapping, and I did worked with them before. They aren't that big of an issue if it's only a few of them, but in large numbers it can be very problematic.

And for lower end pcs, an error like this might even make the map almost unplayable. Maybe some people with better pcs might suffer due to it too.

But I'm glad that you are giving it time:)

Either way, I love the idea behind your map, so keep going at it, champ!

Thanks @Bluhu for the feedback! I replicated what you're saying about those potion bottles. It's odd, they're static props and not really higher poly than other models around the area. I'll decompile and play with them a bit. At minimum I can add a fade distance or something.

Oh and also, the many doors and locations that seem like you can go to, but can't really makes the map a bit confusing to go around in. If there is a barrier somewhere, make it a bit more clear.

This is an issue with many new maps.

I tried out how the it runs and one thing is for sure. I have worked before with these bottles, the one with the blue glowing liquid, get rid of them, or replace it with beer bottles, they drop the frame rate so badly and when looking at the optimisation side of things, they don't dissapear for a long time, so if I look at one direction at red's side my frame rate drops down to 10 fps.

Also, it would be very cool if special events could play when capturing the final points.
maps' pretty good, just don't play with bots or you'll end up having a powerhouse situation (A SHIT-TON OF STALEMATES)
