update: ok so ive checked, yeah you're right, the machine gun turret is not there. What happened was i had some mods enabled still and one of them was old garrys mod tools list (which is a pain in the ass within itself bc they removed turrets) so when i went vanilla it wasn't there. What i also realized is that some complex physics tools i have used on this ship to manipulate each of the props weight dont rlly work without the complex tool mods. In short, this will likely fly a bit clunkier for yall, but it still has the same effect, albeit instead of feeling like u are turning a car, u are turning a semi truck. Can't do much there, there thrusters cant impact turn rate, only speed which ive managed to get just right.
