The current leg movement design relies solely on timers without using any scripting support, operating only with the three variables of rotor speed, angle, and torque.
As for achieving smooth motion, I personally draw inspiration by studying works like Gundam and Armored Core. After all, whether it's about aesthetics or movement, Space Engineers is ultimately just a design tool—it really comes down to careful observation.
Another approach would be using scripts, which would undoubtedly produce much smoother motion and offer far greater control over variables compared to timers. However, no one has developed such scripts yet.
If you do not understand what I mean, I can explain with more detail
In summary, the space mecha (a-62, d-83, a-36) have a smooth leg joint movement which I would like to recreate, but I am unaware of how to do so.
Oh no, it's been so long that I don't even remember the control structure of the A36 anymore...
But if the CTC settings are correct, it should be fine (I guess)
I still have an A31 in my Workshop that uses vanilla CTC for weapon control – not sure if it's still usable.
or to sell them and make a huge profit
It's true that partly for aesthetic reasons, the wings are designed for lateral movement, and since there's no room for thrusters on the back, I had to mount the thrusters onto the wings
For the beam gun, I modified the mod to adjust the fire rate
是不是弹出说有其他人在使用该船只?把刷出来这台复制粘贴下就好了,是某个mod的bug,我也不知道是哪个哎
Agree, Mech war can completely change the experience of this game, dismembered robots and ship wreckage of the battlefield feel is completely different,ai Mech PVE can be made, but this A36 can not,npc should meet two conditions, reduce the number of mods and reduce the consumption of computer performance (as the npc now too many rotors), the future I or May release an AI version of the Mecha :)
You know that most players most likely play Space Engineers in single player mode. And moreover, I doubt that there will be many large servers ready to accept this mod on a permanent basis. If they exist at all.
But among the mods, there are many that add artificial intelligence as friends and rivals. And I was surprised at how well they did it.
The story that could be if your creativity reaches new, unprecedented heights.
The mass block is used for docking in the hangar in space,It helps you align the connector on the back
There are occasional bugs in the custom turret, and I'm not sure if it's an issue with the original version or the weaponcore, but my settings should be correct
when i first got it, it moved perfectly, but after a while some thrusters stopped working and the gyros also stopped working and i'm not sure why
are you proud of me yet??
I'm not sure which part of the joint you're referring to.... If it's the head and the arms
Use timer - Reset speed - Increase/decrease speed
These two functions will restore the joint
Was it a task to figure out the active maneuvering of the joints and body? The constant torque handling is also a good achievement. It is an amusing display of tight motion with the high powered thrusters.
I do understand the points conveyed in your text but i also haven't found any one other than you with your skill and ability to create such a fluid motion and range of motion in a gundam like creation on top of that you solved one of the biggest issues i was having with my own mech designs that being seat placement and stable reliable fluid motion this beast is not only a work of art its a work of pure engineering genius in the joints its why i reached out despite knowing there would likely be a language issue i'm currently looking to get a translator for Chinese i also have a need for knowledge including language knowledge so now i have three reasons to learn it one for fun and two to communicate better with my friends who speak Chinese primarily and to communicate better with a potential colleague
Yes, it can be used to shoot video, and all secondary creations of this blueprint are open
However, due to my poor English, if we design together, the cost of communication and time will be very high. This will definitely affect the production schedule. For example, for this text, I don't know whether the translation software will translate my meaning wrong. So I still recommend finding a player who can communicate easily.
personally I need stiffer joints with the same or greater range of mobility as these things need to be able to punch each other or say for instance swing a sword right through a hangar door in episode S1E12 in a station invasion or for instance in S1E15 a mech squad is launched from the main ship in the series and these mech might need some form of hand or gripper to move stuff out of the way
side note i only speak English, basic German, basic french
