Being as when its zoomed out, it's likely a LoD issue which I dont have any expertise in, sorry.

hey, i have a slight graphical issue, his model seems to be clipping with another mod so when viewing from far away he projects a skin of textures. its 100% on my end as I've got 500 mods or so, but i was wondering if you had any advice on how to deal with it because he seems to be the only one affected.

It must be a mod incompatibility, it is absolutely fine on my end.
Willing to make changes if you can be more specific with the required edits :)
What caps mod do you use?

i can recruit him endlessly.
and most problematic: if i dont recruit him, i cant recruit any other legendary lord. so if i dont wanna have him 5 times and i wanna recruit a legendary, i need to recruit all doomstars +1, then i can recruit a legendary for 1 turn.
maybe its because u dont make him cost a caps, need to be a -1 here.

Addressed the skills thank you Malanthor, i am unsure/unable to help with RoC sorry.

he has no skills for me in IE campaign. And dont show up at all in the realm of chaos campaign for laurelorn. (would be awesome if he could do that, i prefer to play the smaller campaign due to long loading times in IE)

It is yes, he's more of a battle mage than a mage-mage. Arcane items aren't generally very powerful, so I figured it was a small sacrifice in the aim of keeping him balanced. I'm open to feedback though, just didn't want him OP.

Is it intended for him not to have an arcane item slot?

It's ultra-wide on recruitment, should be fine elsewhere, let me know of specific instances if not.
And yes it's possible to restrict/specify starting traits, I have just chosen not to, nothing in the lore speaks to it being locked on, feel free to mod it as u like! :)

I saw that his trait is random - is there any way you can ensure that his random trait is always a racial trait rather than a generic one? It feels a bit underwhelming to see some crap generic trait on him. On a sidenote his face is ultrawide for me.

The unit is fine in the campaign, in multiplayer I haven't set anything if you mean there, might address at the weekend. But I don't envisage many people needing him for custom battles.
