The mod is still non functional. The city biome won't generate and forcibly generating one and spawning on it will cause the came to crash.

same for me as well, also could it possible to create a setting to disable the shelling, the random shelling set an entire jungle on fire in addition to striking my pawn's bedroom and cooking the entire wooden interior

is it possbible to tweak it with mod options to generate mostly damaged and low quality stuff with rare nice loot? the concept is nice, but even for the sake of «realism» such looting part of the mod shouldn't be exploited.

another question about royalty: if you own the dlc but play with it enabled, will there still be bugs and errors? or is the game still able to get the resources from royalty it needs

@null from what I can tell from testing is if you don't have royalty or biotech, you will get a error when making a new world, something about not able to find something or the other, when loading onto the tile, you will be spammed with a lot of errors while loading and the time to load will take quite a while, when loading into the tile the map it self will look broken, like a lot of stuff failed to generate.

is this fine to install without royalty? ik it says its a requirement but the description also says royalty will be required "when the project is near completion" and im assuming this mod wasnt 100% finished before the original author stopped working on it

Yeah this is compatible with Rimcities. These cities are biomes. Rimcities are settlement types.

I'm not playing with this mod right now but when I have played with it it's run smooth as butter, in fact it's run a bit better than in vanilla biomes, I assume because lack of soil means less plant growth and animals, especially compared to RimCities.

For those wanting to remove the shelling event, it may be possible to do that by using Vanilla Events Expanded, going into its mod settings and disabling the event.

Seems to be empty and I don't see any map gen referring to loot. Shame, it would be such a good mod if it had that. If you load it before vanilla insectoids 2 and do the hell drop scenario, you can drop into an infected city tho!!

Wanted to add Im running this with a 500+ modpack without issues.

They appear as grey dots around the planet. Instead of a faction icon. Easy to miss.

I know I know, purge all mods but the necessary and then post log. This error is kind of hard to produce with a vanilla mountain map, so I figured I'd leave this here first.

The (I think) simplest solution to this would be to add an option to disable the shelling event. I don't mind it, but it seems to have issues on a map made up mostly of mountains.

@Hazzikaze No it doesn't actually, this mod has the cities as biomes, whilst the Rimcities are settlements of factions. So there's no conflict between them

Just ran into some issues with faction base generation on the city biomes. No pawns or buildings would spawn. I also had Larger faction bases and vanilla base generation. Bases would spawn after I changed their biomes to something other than city center or city outskirts.
