Ok, so Bernhardt won't spawn and i only start with 1 unit of swordsmen. The only thing I can find in my logfiles is something about "script\campaign\mod\pj_grudge_healing\json.lua" missing. How do I fix this?

If you chose it, that means the script isn't broken and you have access to them in the mercenary pool.

The reason you don't see them however, is mostly due to you lacking DLC to the unit you acquired. If some other mod does script things to hide them or some DB things I can't guess, that could happen also.

The thing is that I was supposed to get access to that particular unit after the settlement reclamation (chose it specifically), but it didn't appear on the list for the recruitment. I do have though heavily modded roster lists for all factions, could it be mod conflict?

No. Aside from the culture, Pure luck and your DLC. (You can't recruit them if you don't have DLC for that unit)

Having an inquiry about high level reinforcement units: does the availability of them on recruit tab depends on the availability of corresponding building of fraction? What I mean, for example, I did get an access to 5th lvl cavalry of elves, but not the archers even though that I've should've get them after settlement reclamation.

If it's because there's no Close button visible onscreen, try the Escape key. If it's not that then I don't know I'm afraid

You are correct.

I should have paid more attention to the FAQ & Compatibility section bc that was from the Dark Omen & Shadow of the Horned Rat, Heroes and Regiments of Renown Mod (which is already listed as incompatible with this).

Complete user error on my end (might want to move that bullet point out of the "Mod Compatibility and Compatibility Submods" category, add a "Known Incompatible Mods" section/bold header for legibility).

Any thoughts on adding this to the MCT options like how SCM: Might of the Maw and Legendary Characters mods do for the overlapping ogres?

Cool mod and a ton of fun, but was running into a game crashing bug when playing as another Empire faction (see report below).

The crash was initiated/repeatable via the confed the GB event that occurs when completing the quest to first move a character into Ubersreik.

If it is early in the game/before they spawn on the map (around turn 15, basing their spawn turn on when they populated in my diplomacy panel) the confed occurs without issue. Testing using my save files, I was able to confed the GB on turns 3 & 13 before they spawned.

If the wait 10 turns option is selected twice or the quest isn't completed until later in the game/after they have spawned on the map, when you select confed the GB in the event the game crashes. After turn 23+ it would consistently cause a crash.

I hypothesize that this might be due to the default factions not being able to handle the GB camp system/existing camps when the event fires, but this is baseless speculation.

I really like the mechanic where you get to pay money to heal units instantly at friendly cities. Is anyone aware of a standalone mod that would do this during a non-Grudgebringer run?

If the specific Grudgebringers's Units die in battle can I recruit them again? Im able to recruit regiments of renown but not any of the starting units

ive been playing this mod for a bit ( was my first mod iirc ) and i dont think it happened to me iirc. maybe some units cost upkeep some dont or maybe stances can bug it

I think I read in the in-game Grudgebringer description that camps have no upkeep, but the general and units all have upkeep costs for me. Have I misunderstood something or is this a bug? Thanks in advance.

Amazing mod. Loved Shadow of the Horned Rat as a kid!
