i can't even begin to guess how in the world this is the case, but the conflict was Simplest Subtitles Framework

unfortunate, i'll do some testing with my other addons n find out who the true culprit is

fieldhouse *does* show that the fire particles reappear if turned off and on again [via the fireplace inside of the house] so maybe that can be noted?

works like a charm, especially on servers with nuke addons,
but any permanent entities made by the map [i.e. fire] also get cleaned up and need a map restart to get restored
but hey, that's exactly what this addon advertises, so hell yea
