After play testing it's your 3 original missions that are fine and load properly, it's only the 2 new ones you added + the tutorial on Kamino that crash. I loaded one on editor it did not look demanding, just a forest. If I can load only the old maps but not the new ones it might be a bug I don't see how it's my PC. Also chill, no one is running their mouth we are just talking here. I also did some research and found an LAA patch to force the game to use 4G memory instead of the 2GB because it is a 32 bit game but it didn't help.

Rather than running your mouth with accusations of me telling people solutions of "oh buy a new PC" how about you read the solutions I have presented in the comments before or better yet, screenshot your crash report and post it in the relevant discussion so it can be better looked at.

If you are too bone idle to do either then don't run it, I am well aware of the game's engine's limitations and I am working on it in the background when I have the time to do so outside of work.

Conclusion, either your beta is bugged and still needs a lot of work still, maybe using in my case lower graphics makes it worse not better, maybe a certain graphic is needed to play, or my PC is simply unable to fully utilize the full memory available for this game since Men of War 2 is a very old game. If you are aware of a better way for more newer PC's to play this old game and there is something I need to do then please say so

I have a brand new PC I bought last year with the following specs.
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700KF (3.40 GHz)
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.7 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
This spring I played the older version of your mod, the one with the just 3 missions and I never had a problem I remember finishing all of them. This beta version if I try to load any newly added mission I instantly crash after map finishes loading with Error-12. I had even set all graphics to pathetically levels of minimum and I still crash. Telling people they have issues with their PC and it's their fault they don't have memory is damn right inexcusable especially for someone who can run way more demanding games than this..

Ensure you are only using GAW and 41 Commando. I will expand on anymore detail unless detailed reports are filled in the Crash Report discussion.

Details can be discussed in the following discussion . There should be a crash report even if it does not pop up in a window, you'll have to find the report in your game's files and check the latest one using something like notepad.

I've updated the mission again, removed a few more entities. I can run it on a 2016 PC with minimal crashes now at least.

yea keeps happening, deleted the file and redownloaded it set graphics to min and restarted pc. kept getting same error or no error at all just straight to desktop

Any "failed to allocate memory" errors are down to not enough RAM being allocated to MOWAS2. Try lowering your graphical settings, resolution, clearing your computers' cache list or with a fresh restart of your PC - ensuring no other applications are on in the background.

Also ensure you are using the latest v1.02 client update (delete and redownload the mod) as I have further reduced the flora and grass entities on the map as well as optimized the skybox and minimap.

If this STILL happens, feel free to open up the mission in the editor - I have purposefully left in "SKIP" buttons which transport you to different cutscenes and thus different areas of the mission for the lack of being able to save in the editor.

I may have to split that mission into two parts if a majority of people crash not being able to load the mission.

Keep me updated tho man, hope you enjoy the rest of the mod.

It is worth noting that the missions in this mod push the very boundaries of the GEM editor. SAVE OFTEN!

@Critilius Common bug, I've tested it a couple times and the only way to avoid it is by either replaying a previous save or restarting the mission. However, I recognise how fucking annoying this is so I will change the bridge so that it is a terminal which must be sliced to raise the bridge (for technicality's sake, the bridge is used in the F2 editor so I will switch it to the F3 and manually script it so it will never bug again).

I cannot raise the bridge on the geonosis mission. Interacting with terminal does nothing how can I progress?

@StarWarsGuy7811 Unfortunately I cannot do anything about the crashing as it is an issue with the game itself as a 32 bit engine and a mod already decreases stability in of itself.

However, upon replaying and testing the missions out myself, I have noticed that the access point into the droid factory is very hit or miss as the buttons raise the bridge about 50% of the time. I may change this to something automatic to avoid bugginess there.

@Oorestis Yeah it is very hard to see. There is a slight orange glow where the refuge pile is. Follow Cyrus Da Grape's YouTube video if you're stuck.

im stuck on first moon mission, i reached the radar and one guy said, the repair kit is near the shipyard station. i had searched for ages i couldnt find any thing nor i understood what he meant. there was just a small stash nearby a black droid but inside was just some ammo and a couple of grenades. no repair kit

the last time I played this amazing but buggy mod was 4-5 months ago (I think). I love the work and progress you have made for this game, but I don't think I can play it until all the crashing and bugged objectives on geonosis stop. @Dodgychief1611 It's a dynamite mechanism used since Faces of War/Men of War. Under the "use items" there is an icon which states "place detpack". Use this and hover your mouse cursor near the detonation zone.

No worries my man, some of the weapons in the project come from an addon I made as part of an HD reskin I did for RepCom. Not your fault or anything, happy to see people use stuff I made! Maybe it got ported to some other SFM addon or something.

What are you referring to? I used the SFM models which were ported from Battlefront 2 (2017) for the background art. As for the in game models, I am unsure of where the developers ripped and ported the SWRC models from.

Nice! You guys are using my old HD Reskins of RepCom models that I made ages ago for GMOD (Now I feel old...). Cool work, though I'd recommend using better looking models if you can find em. The content of the HD Skins I made were released years after I made them in school, so they're almost 10 years old (Though the workshop addon is newer)

@rogers0110 Honestly man just reload a save and it will eventually work. Theres some things in this mod that need to happen just right otherwise it isnt going to work.
