@TheAvtokrator Oh real life takes precedence of course and it can be exhaustig, i know as well. So many plans regarding mods and modding and not enough time or energy. It is what it is. I just thought to tell you as you implied intend to update it when possible and i thought to bring you the news. Cheers. :)

To @Varainger, thank you. Unfortunately after the Jorodox misadventure I also had some real-life trouble that is still persisting, but I will correct the description so that it sounds fairer.

@TheAvtokrator Jorodox got updated in july to conform with new Chrome app rules. You can also download it via its own github.

The Jorodox tool, a Chrome store app I used to create new models, is unfortunately dead. As long as there's no valid replacement for it, I'm sorry to say that I can't update this mod.

Thank you, @Val. Unfortunately, you can't modify the .xac files, at all. I created my own files in the .mesh file format, then I went to mymod/interface/mapitems.gfx and replaced the references to .xac with .mesh.

Thank you @Kisigi, it's not completely compatible with HIP yet, since only special shield will show up (HRE, merchant republics, Pope), but I will try to fix it in the next update

Hello E, thank you. As for future updates, Indian and Buddhist shields are definitely planned for later (may be a week, a month, depends on work...). Later, I may introduce alternate Nomadic and Norse shields. At the bottom of my priority list are Chinese and African shields, since they are already in a more 'modern' format IMO.
I will try to make two separate shield sets: one for hindu/jains and one for buddhism.

Woah, these shields are incredible, I tried adding new unit models and got nowhere, so I understand how frustrating changing 3d assets for this game can be. Very very nice work.
