Major update for 6.0!

-Updated for 6.0.
-Added a new siege variant with a Mangonel.
-The default version now has a protected canopy, and rapid fires heavy, anti-large arrows.
-The unit now has 360-degree armor protection.
-A new passive ability, "Wall", increases the defense of units around it.
-New unit cards.
-Now contributes to the peasant economy.

There's new screenshots if you want to see the revamped units. Hope you guys enjoy!

@Casque à pointe: Glad you like the unit! Don't worry, the unit card is deceptive - it's very slow and suitably clunky in-game. I had to do some workarounds to get it work in-game and the 66 speed is a byproduct of that. I don't know why it shows like this, but it's definitely not nearly that fast.

Hello, great mod! This is the kind of unit bretonnia needs, and it fits the setting pretty well.
The stat card seems weird though, 66 speed seems way too high compared to reality... Is it up to date?

Updated for 5.0, just note that right now there's a weird issue where the top part has no colors. As far as I can tell, this is because CA accidentally overwrote the vanilla War Wagons textures with the Black Lions RoR textures, so there's nothing I can do about it until CA fixes it.

Updated for 4.2, this mod now has native TTC support. It'll be worth 3 points in the Rare tier if you use that mod.

Sorry I haven't made the big balance update I promised - I'll admit, Shadows of Change has kinda taken the wind out of my sails when it comes to TWHIII. However, once I get back into the saddle, I hope to put out a meaty content update for this eventually.

Is the war castle supposed to shoot? In my testing it's not firing any arrows or anything whatsoever, but the unit card says it has a ranged attack, as well as insane ammo and high damange output

Just needs a little tweaking. I would also add -20 fire resistance. The wood structure looks very flammable.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone! I'm aware the unit is a little OP as it is. The speed listed on the unit card is deceptive, it definitely doesn't move anywhere as fast as cavalry and is more along the lines of infantry speed, but this could maybe be reduced a little. Unfortunately I haven't had much free time to sit down and test this thing but I'm hoping to run it some more and tweak things in another update soon. Balancing a unit like this is difficult because there's nothing really like it in-game, but I want to get it in a good place.

logically this should not be able to move even remotely as fast as cavalry due to the inherently top-heavy nature of this construction.

Also - I don't care how thoroughbred the oxen are - they can't pull it that fast - especially not just two of them.

as this is supposed to be an entirely conventional construction - there is no magical excuse.

It should be a relatively slow support piece that can just grind through things with its sheer weight if they approach it.

Love the idea but I would nerf this unit, just looking at the stats it's double in strength to a legendary lord. I would recommend balancing it similar to a lizardmen dinosaur unit and not make it too OP.

part 2: I think a good comparison for it would be the Mortis Engine. A single entity unit thats scary when it reaches your frontlines. Your best chance of preventing that is taking it out before it reaches you, which should be possible because its speed is 48. But you might not be able to take it out, because of its speed its travelling with cover of the main force. I feel like that is the kind of experience you want to evoke here, so you might want to take a look at unit speeds of comparable single entity war machines.

Hi! love the idea behind this and its working great! If I may chime in on the balance issue; I did a few custom battles with it, these would be my first take-aways: I think the archers are currently slighty overtuned. You could decrease the missile strength, or the amount of projectiles fired, but I would think the cleanest solution would be to decrease the range to the same as peasant archers. (or maybe it already is, but the radius makes it look bigger?)

Main issue I would believe to be its speed. Currently the big tower is close to cav speed. Beside the animation feeling less imposing when the big tower comes at you at breakneck speed, it also takes away a bit from you intentions for it as an SEM centerpiece when instead it becomes a dedicated flanker.
