Can this be made compatible with great monuments
LemmeSmash 19. aug. kl. 18:15
Truly a fantastic mod to play with/ Endless RP and Hours of our lives can be dedicated once more to this beautiful game thanks to this mod!

@Princeofdolalmroth
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into them when I start working on v1.8.
Princeofdolalmroth 22. juni kl. 21:08
There is an americas expanded mod that adds a significant amount of american monuments. Two of them are Sacsayhuaman and Coricancha in Peru (megalithic superfortress and the incan temple of the sun). Is there any chance that you might add them to this modpack?
paulvanree 26. maj kl. 13:29
Great! And yes, it's updated in my current game. Cheers!
MK Black  [ophavsmand] 25. maj kl. 9:41
Ah, they must have changed the Korean culture recently. Thanks for the bug report, I have now updated the mod. Korean monuments are now accessible to Koreans and Sino-Koreans, but not Chinese.

You don't need to start a new game btw, I'm pretty sure.
paulvanree 25. maj kl. 9:17
I'm not playing Europa Expanded, so if that's to do with it then that explains it, but the Korean monuments in my current game require me to be in the Chinese culture group, which doesn't make much sense.
Ukraine-Rus 27. apr. kl. 9:58
when is the update?
Thaumaturge 14. apr. kl. 8:43
Hello would you consider making a 2k version of your mod ? :)
MK Black  [ophavsmand] 13. apr. kl. 6:23
good job!

Alright, I've made a patch for it to work with all monuments for player, might be a couple bugs in there still:

Hi I went and wasted 2 hours to make a patch for this to work with "All monuments for player", issue is that it's pretty much a rewrite of your mod with modified triggers and no requirements to have this mod
Ukraine-Rus 16. mar. kl. 7:29
MK Black You added the Zhovkva monument, but why not Lviv?
MK Black  [ophavsmand] 10. feb. kl. 16:23
...that's a thing? I'll look into it I guess.
El Fishler 10. feb. kl. 12:50
Hey MK Black, gotta say I love your mod - I was wondering though, if it's possible to make the monuments in Poland's starting territories (the ones that require West Slavic and/or East Slavic culture) also be available to the unified Slavic culture group that Russia can form
Ukraine-Rus 29. dec. 2024 kl. 2:20
will you add monuments in age of history 3?
Big Mountain 28. dec. 2024 kl. 7:18
Hi MK Black!
Your mod is so attractive.
Could you teach me how to make similar to vanilla great project style 'dds'?
I've find https://eu4.paradoxwikis.com/Modding , but not get true method
MK Black  [ophavsmand] 14. dec. 2024 kl. 2:41
Haven't tested it; probably not.
LiliomCsIgáNy 13. dec. 2024 kl. 23:19
is this compatible with ET?
MK Black  [ophavsmand] 12. dec. 2024 kl. 8:07
Thank you for the recommendations, I'll look into it!
deserk 12. dec. 2024 kl. 7:52
Very nice work. Any chance we could see some more Scandinavian ones? Some examples. Bryggen in Bergenhus, Nidaros Cathedral in Trøndelag, Bohus Castle in Bohuslån, Lund Cathedral, Tre Kronor Castle in Stockholm, Jelling stones in Kolding
MK Black  [ophavsmand] 12. dec. 2024 kl. 5:41

MK Black  [ophavsmand] 9. dec. 2024 kl. 17:20
You're most welcome, I'm always happy when people play my mod. It still doesn't get a lot of attention on the workshop unfortunately. Let me know if you find any more issues, but I think I covered everything for now. The latest EE update was... interesting to say the least lol.
Arcaneevan 9. dec. 2024 kl. 5:26
Wow! How quick! Thank you man! I really appreciate you work and your dedication!
MK Black  [ophavsmand] 9. dec. 2024 kl. 3:51
Version 1.7.2
• Added Hohenzollern Castle.
• Added Sigmaringen Castle.
• Added Klingentorturm.
• Added Burghausen.
• Added Wartburg.
• Updated the artwork of Marburg University.
• Rebalanced some more monuments in Germany, West Africa, Byzantium, Persia, and Indonesia.
• Finalized the upgrade cost rework.
• Implemented Aula Magna from the latest Europa Expanded update.
• Implemented The Bock from the latest Europa Expanded update.
• Implemented Palace of Aachen from the latest Europa Expanded update.
• Kasteel Batavia replaced with Europa Expanded's version.
• BONUS: Added Mandalay Palace. This one's a stretch since it was built as late as 1857, but I find it to be a great addition to Ava.
MK Black  [ophavsmand] 9. dec. 2024 kl. 3:18
Fixed in the next update, dropping later today. Thanks for the bug report!
Arcaneevan 9. dec. 2024 kl. 2:24
Hi MK Black! Thank you for this mod, I really enjoy it.

However, I found an issue playing Burgundy with EE and you mod installed: I cannot complete the mission "Building the Aula Magna" because in Brussels the only project present is "Brussels Town Hall"

Furthermore, there is some text missing when I hoover the mouse over the mission icon.
MK Black  [ophavsmand] 6. dec. 2024 kl. 4:06
Version 1.7.1
• Rebalanced the upgrade cost of every added monument. Yes, all 200+ of them. Costs vary a lot now, some go as low as 500 and others remain as expensive as the vanilla monuments. It mostly depends on how powerful the effects are, who's likely to own the monument, the density of monuments in the region etc.
• Scotland and Wales can now use Irish monuments.
• Added Forteresse de Largoët.
• Replaced Château des ducs de Bretagne with Château de Vitré.
• Updated the artwork of Beaune Hospices.
• Updated the artwork of Cluny Abbey.
• Updated the artwork of Sheikh Safi al-Din Khānegāh.
• Updated the artwork of Kuélap Fortress.
• Minor rebalancing of French and Persian monuments.
GeologicalGenocide 5. dec. 2024 kl. 9:28
Thank you for the quick answer, that explains it! I'm aware of the basic modding stuff, I just wanted to know if such a mod was already published since I wanted to do something like this myself, haha
Keep up the great work man!
MK Black  [ophavsmand] 5. dec. 2024 kl. 9:22
Thanks, glad you're enjoying it!

As for Tenochtitlan, that's from my own unpublished mod which includes a lot of miscellaneous changes (too unfocused to publish here). You can easily change it yourself in the base localisation files though. I could guide you through it if you'd like, just add me if you're interested. Cheers!
GeologicalGenocide 5. dec. 2024 kl. 7:30
Best monument mod by far! I also wanted to ask what mod you used that renames Aztec to Tenochtitlan (last slide). Tried looking for it myself but to no avail...
MK Black  [ophavsmand] 4. dec. 2024 kl. 13:15
I also went ahead and fixed many of Tinto's recent monument artworks lacking the semi-transparent black bar on the top left. Also fixed some of the issues concerning the golden borders (Sarai, Aleppo etc).

This was a huge update, hope you enjoy!
MK Black  [ophavsmand] 4. dec. 2024 kl. 13:14

MK Black  [ophavsmand] 29. okt. 2024 kl. 3:34
Fixed. Thank you!
Zhaoyi 28. okt. 2024 kl. 16:59
Hi, I'm not sure if it has been mentioned already, but many of the European monuments do not work well with the new Celtica (CEE) formable.
The tag with its mission tree introduces a new culture group called "gaelic" and converts provinces to new cultures within it that are not compatible with most monument requirements.
Would be cool if one can at least utilize the Irish, British and some French monuments with the new tag.
MK Black  [ophavsmand] 28. okt. 2024 kl. 8:42
Yeah I decided to put it in an adjacent province for gameplay reasons. Five monuments in one province feels bloated and it becomes annoying to navigate.
GiorgiaSistina 28. okt. 2024 kl. 8:00
I have published it and thanks very much! The other thing is that Ming Tomb is actually in the suburbs of Beijing, and Xuanhua is a bit far away. But I think it's understandable because Beijing has lots of monuments already.
MK Black  [ophavsmand] 28. okt. 2024 kl. 4:44
Oof, I got confused by Xianyang and Xiangyang. I don't want two palaces in one province, so I went ahead and deleted Xiangyang Palace. It had long been destroyed by 1444 anyway, I think Daming Palace makes more sense for reconstruction. To make up for removing a monument in China, I added the Pavilion of Prince Teng to Nanchang. Please let me know if I made any other errors in this region.

And of course you have my permission to publish your localization mod, I'm thankful you went through all that effort.
GiorgiaSistina 28. okt. 2024 kl. 2:06
Greetings! I made a Chinese localization pack for this mod, can I publish it to workshop? By the way, I found that great project Xianyang Palace (咸阳宫) was located in Xiangyang (襄阳) in game, but actually it should be located in Xianyang (咸阳) or literally Xi'an (several kms away from Xianyang), is it a mistake of spelling?
MK Black  [ophavsmand] 27. okt. 2024 kl. 17:48
I advise against it. Since my mod adds 200+ monuments, there will almost certainly be duplicates.
Jeor Mormont "the old bear" 27. okt. 2024 kl. 16:01
yes, minor :)
I forgot to ask, is this compatible with monuments expanded? i wouldnt think so and i could see certain .. combinations being really rather busted but i also love numbers go up :D
MK Black  [ophavsmand] 27. okt. 2024 kl. 15:42
Just had to change one monument, the rest are tied to faith.
Jeor Mormont "the old bear" 27. okt. 2024 kl. 15:22
i think the same problem also takes place with the tibetian wonders, since tibetian can also be sinnocized
Jeor Mormont "the old bear" 27. okt. 2024 kl. 14:44
if only i knew why europa expanded broke the ming's vanilla mission tree but that got nothing to do with your nifty mod
Jeor Mormont "the old bear" 27. okt. 2024 kl. 14:28
oh nice but that isnt a concern for me, because ill likely start a new run with this mod active, eheh.
MK Black  [ophavsmand] 27. okt. 2024 kl. 14:12
No problem. Should work with existing saves.
Jeor Mormont "the old bear" 27. okt. 2024 kl. 13:59
that was quick! Thank you!
MK Black  [ophavsmand] 27. okt. 2024 kl. 12:09
@Jeor
Fixed.
