Yeah, you put it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\dota 2 beta\dota\resource\flash3\images\emoticons and then add -override_vpk to your launch options.

With the eyebrows, make one of them go downwards (like you already have) but make the other one also go downwards, just not as much - then also try one where the other eyebrow goes upwards instead of down. You also need to add an inbetween frame for the eyebrow movement.

Have you tried making the ? a bit smaller and putting it into the upper right corner? That's where it usually resides with these emoticons as it can take up the space the head frees up.

I'm working on making it darker :3 might take a while to get a good set of colors

And also the no-fade version is a little better imho, if you added the eyebrow movement to that (and slightly changed the palette) it will be 11/10

i prefer a head only with no shoulder. its pretty weird for me that there is enough space to put a full-head emotion, a top part is cut
