I'm getting some really intense rendering lag with some of the extra units, any ideas? Another mod conflicting?

Why do these tomes have 20 stats instead of the game's standard 10? Doesn't that make them a bit unbalanced?

The original creator seems to have abandoned it, so Sindir has taken up the torch, with full credit to the original creator on the page. Does this still work? I like the tome of hunger to RP as the ogre kingdoms from Warhammer fantasy.

I have noticed that a lot of the spells from tome of hunger acctually crashes the game when used. Great mod though and most of the things seem to work still. Is just the whole "hunger spells" stuff i´ve noticed.

Hey guys. As a fan and because with his guide ERICdb worked kinda as a Sensei for my own tome mod, I decided to update and reload this mod here:

Using the Evil eye spell hard crashes the game. At least for me, which is interesting since I did not have any crashes before this mod.

I like it so far but I have an issue with the Tome of Witchcraft's Secret Mixture spell that crashes me upon right clicking my unit for the regen and buffs (so far the only spell I know of that I am having issues with)

Hi love the mod but Secret Mixture from tome of witchcraft crashes the game when cast!

First of all. Thank you for creating this mod. Just so you know your witch unit is missing a head.

some units do not work. the game starts to slow down a lot when they appear on the screen. you can check this in the game in the monster encyclopedia

Unfortunately units and spells from this mod pack are causing my game to crash when spawned and used respectively so i'm going to have to turn it off. A severe shame since it has some of the most creative ideas for tomes and I really liked all of them.
I'd like to hope that either the maker of this mod returns to it or someone else is willing to pick it up where they left off but until then i'm going to sorely miss it.

He played the game today, so there is hope.

This mod hasn't been updated since Mar 5, 2024 unfortunately, as amazing as a mod as this is/was, the creator has moved on from it.

While I like occasional well-dosed imbalance, the witch is overpowered. Summoning a T1 animal is so strong, it balances out the low damage output of the Wildspeaker. With the good damage of the witch, it's too strong. The other active ability of the witch does make the issue even worse. If this has been discussed already i'm sorry, i don't have the time currently to check 27 pages of comments

Tiny bug : White Witch loose their Optional Mounted trait for some reason. Don't know if this has been reported.

Ok so decided to test it and yes, it does work tho there is a bug where the Divining Governance city spell icon in the city tab lists it as a materium spell. Other than that I haven't noticed many issues I know are caused by this mod in particular. Will comment any other bugs I find

Also @NakedGranny there isn't a "correct name" for someone who divines the future by reading the stars because that isn't a thing that exists in reality. There might be existing convention, but in purely fictional contexts, the only thing that is "correct" is what the author dictates.

I was getting a 100% crash until I disabled this mod halfway through one of my games. it was a memory read error, not sure what the problem was, but it was crashing during end of turn processing. It assume the only reason disabling this mod would fix the crash but not break the game is that disabling this mod prevented an npc from picking one of the tomes within.

Tome of Astrology also has several bugs and issues, the most harmless of which is that the astromancer units are invisible. Augury of Aid is not targeting / working correctly, either.

No pressure but will you coming back to update this? Tome of Hunger in particular is such a good, thematic tome; I've used it for multiple builds

It's definitely disappointing that they'd change the name from the correct "astrology" / "astrologer" to the absolutely stupid, lame and generic sounding "astromancer". It's also simply incorrect. The correct term for someone who divines the future by reading the stars is... astrologer. Just slapping "mancy" on the end of a word is not how you use that suffix, and it's not the way to describe just any old magic. It's like if you said "food maker" instead of chef or cook. Or "fabric stitcher" instead of tailor or seamstress.

Change it back.
