I will say though that star wars stuff isn't on the table as of now implementations in the future will be 40k related and potentially dead space. I won't cast it out entirely but it would be very very far down the line as I do like da clones but with that would involve making their weaponry as well.

The focus right now is making more maps especially ones that fit the vibe/gameplay of Waterworks and Coag.

I like the new enemies, & the new allies we get aswell that spawn with the flyable phantom! Very much changes the dynamic. I also look forward to some Clone & Storm Troopers joining us complaining about wrist rockets & simulations :)

And the new upgradeable base button, brilliant! The best Halo 2 Firefight/AI battles out there!

Thanks man, I seem to be doing that alot lately lol I had much of the same idea way back when wondering what AI would feel like on MP maps. Its quite staggering even now to me how far we've come since that time.
Lol true thats happened to me once before but different AI, they do like to get creative :)

I have indeed even before it became arby n the chief, could be doable once I get around to making dialogue tags for the heroes

@Imperial Guardsman And if you've seen the old Arby n the Chief YouTube series, it'd be great if they could be random heros with their Microsoft Sam & Mike voices, no doubt Chief would be after those anime heros you put in :D

This is brilliant! The drop ships, reinforcements, literally fulfilling my Halo 2 AI battles childhood dreams! Not only that, but while playing Coagulation, I pressed the button to spawn the phantom, & somehow, a marine got in there when I wasn't looking & is currently flying around the map laying down fire everywhere! 11/10 mod

The endings trigger automatically after 22 ally waves on Coag and 24 on Waterworks. Allies that spawn at base not from dropships; music will indicate progression.

Okay, it works now! It must have been something very specifically wrong with Steam this time because in my 400+ hours of gameplay for workshop mods, this has never happened before. I did already resub to the mod at least once which didn't fix it (including several re-reads of the description for additional details on where it would show up for someone less knowledgable about workshop mods). It is showing under Campaigns > Halo 2: Anniversary now :steamthumbsup:

I tested with two people beforehand and played for hours; yeah unfortunately we'll always be at the mercy of p2p connection on MCC so not really anything I can do there.

Appreciate it kindly man thanks; they certainly gave me enough space for creative freedom and to really amplify the atmosphere. I plan to make more like them with the other large maps.
There are quite a few hidden around, Coag technically has 8 with another being added (rts like feature) while Waterworks has 9 however one of them spawns five waves of heretics and another being an audio easter egg, so 7.

Love the mod, been looking around for weeks for more Halo 2 content and hit the jackpot with this one, Waterworks and Coagulation are my most favorite's of these maps. Just having a hard time finding all of the switches I mapped down the Heretic Spawn, Air Support, and Elite Spawn.

It seems I have not, i've made changes as of now. But there are ally and enemy waves that spawn with them along with sniper ammo around the map so its not impossible to get.

Going back to working on it once I complete integrating the new stuff into the old maps been also improving firing points,scripts,better ai spartan behavior, (new) sounds, (new) music. Some of the new tags needed some extra polishing and frankly also alot of scripting for one in particular feature being added to all maps. Just Coag left to do and some minor additions to Waterworks on top of what i've done already if the map file can handle it without exploding.
TLDR
Lots of new stuff/improvements being integrated into the old and required full attention away from the new map for the time being to complete

Oh my bad, misunderstanding. I agree that was one of my biggest peeves playing H2; I'm not sure exactly why but I figure it's because Bungie didn't want the turrets to do the work for the player and perhaps felt they were too powerful in combination with driving the Wraith

I mean outside of this mod, On og xbox when i played halo 2 the turrets never did anything for me. It made me very sad.

They most certainly do, when the player gets in the Wraith it spawns 2 ai for the turrets; now being their ai they are still constricted to ai limits on the map (not as much since they have very basic ai like the infection forms) but if theres a slight ai overload they could potentially stop firing for a lil bit. i've also seen where when you get in initially, they won't fire but eventually will. Just H2 being H2.

Yea each map with the exception of Warlock has a peli drop spawn which will randomly select a group of actors from a "squad" of 31 potential candidates some of which are hero's, so it's RNG. Beyond a couple of preset spawns in some ally waves, the only way to get them is the buttons.

It is working on my end; it was updated to have 0.0.0.0 put in the game version to prevent small MCC updates from breaking mods in the future.
