And TF2 isn't your property. It isn't your IP, it isn't something you, or me, or Chickenman, or anybody in the community will ever be responsible for creating! Only changing. It is a modern videogame; we live in modern times. It is a relic. It has survived through time, because Valve has made it change. If it had stopped getting updates back in 2009, if it had stopped changing, the game would be long dead by now. TF2 taunts have forever been comical and, sometimes, over the top. At this point, anybody very well could throw an "emote" into the game and call it a day because Valve wants the community to. Valve wants the community to make TF2 their's.

it’s been established for like ten years not every taunt is a “taunt”. The definition in this games context has changed long ago and this submission isn’t going to change that.

Mom's spaghetti, do you realise that this isn't a modern game? It's a relic of the past, one where you couldn't shove any "emote" into the game and call it a day. Taunts aren't emotes, they're called taunts for a reason. Taunt after getting a kill, taunt across the map for the funny. Yes, some "silly" "taunts" are fine, but the majority of them just suck ass.

My brother the model and the video clearly show a light reflecting on the sand as well as different shades of sand. Don’t ask why I’m making such a big deal out of this but it just bothers me. I still don’t like the taunt though, it’s not great

If its made out of sand, why does it deflate like that when the taunt ends? Also im pretty sure sand doesnt make reflections btw, the textures are pretty wrong if you're trying to get sand.

I mean, it's a really cute idea, funny and good summer themed but I feel like Pyro already has a good summer taunt like this one with the inflatable gas pool. I salute your creativity but this isn't the taunt I would choose for the update. You do have good creativity and that's good, keep expressing yourself I'm sure you can release a cool tf2 item

Let's just settle this room temperature IQ debate argument once and for all. Taunt = emote. I don't want every animation to only be the mercs taunting you, it should be an animation so that people can have the freedom to make the mercs do whatever they want. It used to be a called a taunt because Valve didn't know what else to call it back in the days. Now many games have animations where characters can do whatever you want and I don't see why TF2 should not get with the times.

I dont think this fits at all. Sure it may fit with the "oh pyro acts like a kid and it fits with his dumb personality" etc etc but man this taunt is just soulless imo. It's literally just pyro stroking a rubber in a loop... Nothing else going on. It looks pretty weird too and I can see why people are... not sure about this taunt because of its "looks." Why a sandcastle thats a rubber anyway? Also I know this has been done to death but man, its just not a taunt, only a dumb emote that barely anyones gonna use
