Seems to work for me now. Not sure if that's 1.1.10.5 or one of the other mods I unsubbed from. Regardless I'm happy, thank you. I do know your pain of every update breaking mod compatibility :/

It seems that as of 1.1.10.4 this mod has now become incompatible with https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3358859974 - installing that one disables this mod it seems. I loved using both of them. I was hoping something can be done about it.

I consider this the most game-changing mod in the workshop!
The only flaw (and it's not your fault) is that all your information gets hidden by the pause screen.
I wish there was a way to disable the pause screen overlay.

Fantastic customization options! The bright green bars and numbers were a bit too much for me but thanks to the customization I set the bars to be pale red and semi-transparent. Works great.

Do you think it would be possible to implement a color gradient for the health bars? E.g. going from yellow to red. Or simply one color but with min/max alpha, e.g. 30% alpha at full health and 80% at 1 HP so that enemies who are near death would be more visible.

Lastly, I can't help but point out that the game appears to display the bars *above* the player character and elites/bosses. The offset adjustments are great but they would have to account for the entity size to work properly. I think displaying them below looks good enough but maybe an option to go with what vanilla game chose to do. Thanks for your time.

No issue, but i changed the default settings due to outdated modoptions dependency. Now the Mod Options updated, you can use it to turn it on.

The UI is disapearing so you have to disable it in the options and then enable it again.

以下是针对每次都需要修改的问题的解决方案:
1.找到你的Steam的mod安装位置,例如我的是D:\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1942280
2.之后找到一个名为2967418648的文件夹,里面的ShowEnemyHealth.zip文件就是mod文件
3.双击打开它,再打开里面的文件夹,找到manifest.json和seh_main_event_listener.gd这两个文件,双击打开并在接下来进行修改
4.对于manifest.json,修改properties里的内容(e.g.SEH_SHOW_OPTIONS,SEH_SHOW_HEALTH_BAR,SEH_SHOW_ICON_UI,SEH_SHOW_LABEL,SEH_SHOW_BOSS_HEALTH_BAR。。。)
[此处的修改仅仅是显示在Mod Options中的内容,并未修改实际的效果]

[下面的才是修改实际效果的部分]
对于seh_main_event_listener.gd,修改上述相同的内容即可(e.g.SEH_HEALTH_BAR_COLOR,SEH_LABEL_COLOR,SEH_SHOW_BOSS_HEALTH_BAR)

I know why the health bar is not showing!
Please go to the %user%\AppData\Roaming\BrotatoQianMo-ShowEnemyHealth folder, delete all json configuration files, and you can see the health bar display after restarting the game!

Oops! Looks like I celebrated too early. Settings still don't load properly. For example enemy stats panel coordinates are wrong. The menu shows some default values but the panel is actually drawn with bigger margins. This can be checked by adjusting coordinates one step each - the panel will jump to the coordinates specified in the menu. Also I don't see modconfig*.json in the folder anymore.

Anyway at least I don't need to enable the mod each time I play the game. This is "good enough" for me.

Now it prints similar error message but with different path and error code (2 became 20):

Also there are a lot of warnings about deprecated syntax.

Just to make it clear I run the game through Proton though I didn't have any problems with the game in December on the same setup. Hope this helps.

@QianMo thanks for such quick update! The settings screen now initializes properly but unfortunately it still can't save settings. Now it just prints "Save Failed" without specifying the reason. I tried deleting both default.json and modconfig*.json but that didn't fix the problem. Also HP bars work now. Yesterday they didn't.

I launched the game from console and it prints this when trying to save.

INFO SEH: Encountered an error (2) when attempting to create a directory, with the path: seh_config


I tried changing the line
_save_path = base_path.plus_file("seh_config/" + CONFIG_NAME + ".json")[i/]

Hi QianMo as reported by ګćĦۼŕžعҖїᾐﻭ saving settings doesn't work. It says "Type mismatch: expected [boolean] for SEH_SHOW_HEALTH_BAR". I checked the config that the setting written here is in fact boolean. I also tried looking into the mod source but I'm not very experienced in Godot scripting yet so to me everything looks pretty fine there too. Could you please check the issue? Looks like something is wrong with ModOptions because I always have the default config loaded despite having config_created_by_mod_options.json too. And the Mod options are also shown incorrectly. The main switch looks turned on but the menu isn't shown unless manually switched.
