Hi excellent idea and mod. Can i request that you use a different skin than the undivided one? Am playing as wintertooth and using a mod that change undivided corruption to winter. But this mod makes it that the Hassut covered darklands is covered in snow, which is rather weird. Anyway i understand if you are too busy, but great work nonetheless.

@Rapknife As i have seen, some people have just retake from my basework to redo their corruption and some have tweaker other existing corruption to get their visual, but it does what i doesn't seek to remove any visual from CA on existing Corruption, but nah i'm afraid if you want to make another corruption there's not other table than what i use (except some table who are linked to the Dawi Zharr)

This is a really sick mod. I was wondering are there any other mods similar to this that make a new 8th mod, nothing complicated, even just building causes corruption type to slowly generate would even work. Was trying to learn based off this mod, but its got hella content inside of it on RFPM. If you dont know any other mods like this, I was wondering what makes the barebones of making an 8th corruption work just so I can even start to understand whats going on with it. Thanks!

@Delta64 I'm afraid there's nothing more to do for the moment, except if you know how to break the engine (but not in a way that make the mod unplayable in multiplayer)

@NorscanWarlord it should work well with it, except for the buff/debuff on the units SFO make

So you can actually make new corruptions without constraints as long as they use assets from the existing ones ? Can you pick and choose what assets ? (as an example, make a Khorne corruption that has the skull rifts of the undead one ?)

You can create as many you want corruption just you can't really made a visual asset on new one because the engine do not support it (kinda hardcoding there), that's why there's some new corruption that change one "vanilla" corruption too

Being both interested in the technical aspect and very bad at it, how did you add a 8th corruption ? Is it a repurpose of an existing one or can we actually create whole new ones ? (that would be contrary to what other corruption mods authors said in the past and thus very interesting)

Hello Malkox, I think your mod whas causing problem which someone in my modlist becase how the pack is named, the pack having whitespaces can cause some problems, could you rename the pack with "_" between the words or joint them together and reupload it.

It is not necessary for undivided chaos, they only need immunity for the other four chaos contaminations.and those of the Chaos Dwarves.

For the moment i can't really put anything visually the Engine of the games do not tolerate more than 7 Corruption, and i do not really want to alter other corruption visual for Hashut, kinda limited there for now

Will you be able to see anything visually? For example, oil basins, poison pools, dead trees and bones of animals or even barrels and pipes, perhaps even columns of fire?

Playing with this, its hard to understand how it didnt bother me more before that Chorfs were 'Undivided' lmao. For such an otherwise well-crafted race, this was sorely missing! (This, and the fact that Chorfs still cant get followers but thats just a silly bug)

The 4.2 update made the corruption at borders less blocky, sadly this mod override this change.
A new parameter block "edge_stretch" has been added to the .xml.material files and it is missing from your last update.

Hmm to achieve what you want, maybe the tree models could be altered? To machines, or pollution or whatever you are thinking. When I think chaos dwarves I think black pillars of smoke, machines, and a polluted landscape. Maybe some of nurgle's or Vampire Count's textures combined with this, to get a mix of three black/polluted landscapes.

Hi. I'm not sure if it's something you can do something about but if you have access to T4 minor settlements the T4 settlement building reverts to chaos corruption.

I've noticed a bug with this mod and I'm assuming the latest update, in that only small patches of corruption are visible in a province, even at max corruption.

I have been finding random hashut corruption coming from nowhere in random places. There are no chaos dwarfs anywhere near there either. Sometimes it's +3 adjacent or +20 from events nowhere even close to chorfs.

Have to disable for time being as unfortunately found this was the mod that has prevented as others found campaign scripts from running in all factions. May require starting new campaigns.
