Soooo....I might be a little dumb, but how does one activate these as I still only see the base starting options.

Though as stated the new update might've caused it to bork.

Nobody is doing anything wrong; it must have broken with a recent update.

How do i use it?

This pops up a warning immediately about the story prompts not being able to be read, and that old JSON types aren't allowed. Am I doing something wrong?

@̋̊̑͂͆̅¢h³MÏǪ£ Ør9 : I am converting your mod to the new JSON format, as well as adding French translations. I also sorted out a naming scheme to not have all those random names, and to distinguish different presets with the same name in the preset list.
Do you want me to send the result to you so you can update this mod, or should I publish it myself?

How do I use it ?

Lots of alien invasion ones. I am guessing that they are different ones. Is there a version where the aliens have conquered earth and are running the place as part of an empire? Or one where robots rule with humans being ruled by robots?

I haven't gotten to checking it in-game, I just noticed it in the list here. If I notice duplicates in-game, I'll note it here with that info.

This mod does not include any changes to the prompts or event checks. It solely adds new world presets.

Question cliftut; when you click on the 'duplicates' do they have different properties? There are duplicate titles but they should have unique descriptions.

FYI, "21st Century Climate Activism" is in the list twice. Not sure if this is true in the mod
I sympathize with the difficulty of managing such a list. :D

A note: I think it's best practice to keep mechanics mods and scenario mods separate.
[Edit as I'm writing this: I saw the word "overhaul" and thought for some reason this was an overhaul of prompts/checks as well. If not, ignore the above comment.]

After all, one has to scroll past all of those to get to their own local scenarios, hehe.

Suggestion, if you're willing:
Split the list into categories, and release different categories as individual mods.
Also, release a variety mod with your very favorites and the best ones from the largest categories.
