No. Repair recipes are completely different in B42, and depend on tags in the actual items themselves. No ETA on a 42 update, but I will likely get around to it as b42 gets closer to stable release.

Nope. I only had the default one running. I tried a bunch of things such as changing the mod load order and whatnot but it doesn't seem to work. I can't tell if it conflicts with one of my mods since they were working fine when I first subbed to this along with those mods, it just simply disappeared one day.

Thing is, I could repair my crowbar without problem before. But ever since the update that added the balance for the katana the option for it disappeared.

two things to check.
in game, hit esc-> mods in the bottom right corner and triple check mod is loaded correctly
make sure you have a standard crowbar and not modded content.

For whatever reason I could repair the nightstick without any problem but I don't seem to have an option for the crowbar. Can't check out the Meat Cleaver and Katana yet since I haven't found any.

Both are included with the one subscription. If you are already subscribed to MRR all you need is to launch the game, and on server hosting end switch to the mod to More Repair Recipes - Katana Balance

Added a separate mod with that. Katana requires a metal sheet or 2 smalls, and level 3 metalworking.

Untested but it should work fine. As long as the item is still under hood a default crowbar.
