Before mods were part of your steam cloud - this limited how much mods you could do (I hit the maximum months ago for example (no large mods anymore, just small ones).
Then there is no mod max limit anymore - so we don't need to split mods exceeding 100mb anymore.
Beside this we are now able to update mods content wise again.
So no more seperate mod releases for small fixes (or no fixes at all).
Each mod has to be upgraded individually and manually to be compatible again.
Technically this is no problem - but the mod manager doesn't support my amount of mods in an acceptable way for now. I'll upgrade all my mods when this is done (morness is working on ot).

I am sure if I applied myself I could do it myself anyway, but still.

If after this the soundtracks doesn't 'show up', try another restart, sometimes the times just isn't enough and AoE needs some more.
Easiest would be to extract the mods archive from your AoE\mods folder to your AoE folder manually though.
