Cant descfibe how amazing it it!
Thank you so much!
from bioshock, zuggest bookdr office from bureal at sea with Elizabeth!
Also, it would be amazing to port something from Arkhzm series.
Like Origins Batcave with Alfred
It's really great to see people doing game environments like this, I'm getting to relive some great nostalgia and I can actually be there, it's awesome.
I hope one day to see more environments from Infinite, maybe one on the tower where Elizabeth lives, or in an airship. I'd also love to see some from Bioshock 1 and 2.
Thanks for the reply! Good to hear that your continuing to work on it! Bioshock Infinite is one of my favorite games of all time and you have been able to create a little slice of heaven for me to experience in vr. Keep up the good work when you can and I'm sure many of us will be eagerly waiting for the updates!
I have some updates on the way! Hard to find spare time to work on it, but I am still adding things. I've linked a GitHub URL in the description where you can see changes I make to the scripts.
My favorite feature recently is catching coins from Elizabeth in VR. Turns out they're much harder to catch when the game doesn't do it for you
Once I get some more free time I want to do a big update. I have some reaallly ambitious ideas
For the moment, this has become quite the SteamVR Home! 'Shame I can't change the spawn location to somewhere scenic, but that does mean a nice performance curve when I'm running on battery. Now, if only SteamVR had support for custom interfaces and whatnot out of the box...
I suppose you know it, but you can play to Bioshock Infinite in VR with VorpX. It works great. This game allow any resolution in windowed mode so you just have to put a very high 4:3 resolution (at least 3744*2808 pixels for a 4k Reverb G2) and very low zoom in VorpX (just enough to fit your entire field of view), and you get, with edited high FOV (via ini, really important, around 110 I think), and some HUD adjustment (via VorpX menu) and font upscale (via ini files), a very good experience. Geometry 3D works very well in outdoor at day, and I think Z3D give better lights effects for night and maybe some indoor lights (godrays) in this game. Don't forget Clarity Fx in VorpX menu, and to adjust head tracking speed if needed. You can get the same result as a native VR game easily.
Of course you can't use VR controller like you do, but you can play the whole game and it's amazing.
