Not as far as I'm aware. It's not like the Shotgun where there's a seperate animation for pumping the gun so it can play at the end of an empty reload. There's just one grenade animation and that's what I edited. Ask Alex or Boreal Sketcher, they might know more

Correct, the reload wasn't designed in to the event system, and I doubt it will be unless someone Sourcemods it in

the only problem with this mod is that it shows a reload when you empty your mp5 grenades, which i imagine is something that isn't possible to fix currently?

No. You can grab the sounds from the other mod by extracting them with Crowbar by ZeqMacaw. Have some agency.

I just downloaded the mod and put the two vpks into my own custom folder, and it does work. There's something going on in your custom folder or worskhop subscriptions that's messing with it.

The animations are from the vanilla MP5's animations. I just put the different models onto the same animations. It's not that deep.

As we have to put all workshop mods into the custom folder I forget to unsubscribe the old mp5 mod

it works after replacing the material file in the csgo one with the material from the desert camo BUT now the Grenades have a missing texture (before I put the materials in and just had the default csgo and it also had the missing texture)

Then remove the default vpk. The dependency was for the script, so that may be what's messing it up.

You put the main and the alternate option into custom at the same time. If you're still having trouble with it, you can take the VPKs into Crowbar and extract the files you want to a new folder within custom

Does this work? the rotating image thing has 1 that says CS:GO MP5 (which this mod is based off of) but IDK if it works with all CS:GO MP5 mods

No. Each model has its own contained animations. Animations do not transfer from one model to another. As much as I would like for there to be a C_Arms system, Crowbar Collective were not so forgiving while developing the game

Okay, so the script that changes the length of the grenade animation does work, but there's no animation of the m203 reloading, so it just sits still for a while

I assume not. The animations aren't transferable between models, but I think there's one M4/727 model that does have a grenade reloading animation. Using the weapon file from this mod may lead to the animation in that mod play properly.
