Hey man have you thought about maybe adding the ability to were two Bandolier's so we can have both shell and bullet at the same just a thought?

The authors of Vest Pockets transferred the vest to the Bandoleer slot to fix the status display problem. This obviously does not apply to this mod. But see other mods that add extra costumes. I discovered by unlocking all the opening clothing options that similar mods tend to add separate slots. I don't know if this is difficult from a code perspective. But the Resident Evil Item development mod has added arm and leg packs, which were apparently absent from the original.

This seems to be incompatible with Spongie's Open Jackets when wearing the vest to be open it disappears. Possible to add compatibility soon?

I roughly understand the reasons for these errors, but I don't know how exactly to resolve them. In any case, it seems that the problem is not with this mod. Ask "Authentic Z"'s author to add compatibility with this mod.

When Foreman vest is equipped the Killa's vest from Authentic Z generates errors and won't show the stats of it. Not sure the rest of Authentic Z gear

I have already tested everything and made such a change to the version I have in my modpack (you gave permission to add to the pack below), it's just that, as I said, I don't think it's right to make another copy of the mod in such a case, so I suggest you make the same addition.

When I was wearing a hunting vest, as soon as I tried to replace it with anything in the same position (including but not limited to the bulletproof vest in the original and mod), there were a lot of errors.
I have posted some error logs to the discussion board.

Still works for me just with a few issues: can't open it with Spongies Open Jackets it deletes the vest and it's contents and while using Britas you can't put magazines in the vest only ammunition

Hello! Just for people to know, this mod create an error when you equip the hunting vest. It's conflicting with other equipment that use this body part, even with no other mode, it's conflicting with some pure vanilla clothing, breaking their tooltip and producing thousands and thousands of the same error. (keeping your cursor on it repeat the error multiple times a second, quickly making your error report file weighting gigabytes...)

I think it's because, by becoming a container, the game doesn't manage to get the "armor" values and can't bring up the comparison tooltip.

The ammo straps works good so far assuming it's because there is no other clothing using this body part.

Unequipping the hunting vests does bring back the tooltip and stop the mountains of errors. So be aware of that! Great mod for the straps by the way!^^

Would it be possible to implement compatibility with spongie's open jackets

I'm currently not updating this mod, only keeping it alive, if there are any interests in adding additional content, I can put it on GitHub and people can add features to it!

It does not work with Brita Weapon Pack. As for brita you need Arsenal Gun Fighter ammo and this mod is not compatible with that.

In addition to what Kyomujin said, which is something I'd have never thought to look at but makes sense, I just moused over the Vest and there was no longer a displayed Insulation stat/bar. And putting it on while looking at the Insulation stat in the Temperature menu showed no change between putting it on and taking it off.
I wonder, would it be possible, without much hassle, to add these as a separate item instead of replacing them? That way one can be worn as capacity and the other for warmth?

If you check the documentation for zomboid.inventory.types for the relevant types InventoryContainer [projectzomboid.com] vs Clothing [projectzomboid.com] you'll see that getInsulation is only available for clothing, so I suspect that having a capacity and insulation are mutually exclusive in the game. Same thing with scratch/bite protection.

Looks like the vests no longer provide insulation and wind resistance. I'd assume the same for protection but I didn't check or notice since I'm playing Cryogenic Winter.

Yap, its really buggy, i had to equip this one for bullet and i can load it with 12 shell. But just minute later i cant use it again and had to reequip this one for shells. Maybe i have too much mods, who knows. Actually i know how to repair it

@Argentinean Kerosene There are 2 type of straps, bullet and shell. Maybe you have the other one equipped?

Idk why but bandolier just stop work. I can't load ammo there, it works few days ago but now ammo shows red and i cant put ammo to straps. Vests works normal. Any idea?

@Qalter Walter, I looked both on the mod list of the save but also for the crafting in game and it wasn't showing up in either of those two as well, but with this re-upload mod enabled I can craft the vest and bandollier again, so now it's working.

@Doomed Sloth, yes it wont show up in the mod list, but I heard people still have the mod enabled on their old saves

@Qalter Walter, I found out that even though I was still subbed to the old now deleted mod on steam, it wouldn't show up in the mod list of the game, so now I will sub to this one instead.

@Doomed Sloth, If you are playing singleplayer and still have this mod, you are still good to go and keep the old one. The problem will be disabling or enabling the mod, as it doesn't appear in the mod list anymore. But I think you will still keep the items, if you do disable the old one and enable the new one.

If you are hosting a server via the game or a dedicated server, you will have to replace the old mod ID with the new mod ID (see top of the description)

So what would I need to do to get the mod working again? Just disable the old and enable the re-upload?
