I donot understand why but I ddnt need the second laser, that turns off the field, so I call it a bad design.

I appreciate that the turret wasn't intented to be rushed or cheesed. Dealing with it felt very deliberate and fair.

The logic puzzle was also rewarding.

Nicely done! A great brain teaser! The final oops at the end was saved by a checkpoint, you sly dog! Thanks!

Good logical map indeed!

Hm...nice puzzle, however two things.
First, that the X lazer also disables the first grill wasn't really obvious.
Second, was the second to last part of the puzzle suppose to be timed based?

Real good map. You have to think to play this one. Thumbs up all the way. 10/10

you can shoot portals there. don't tell me you fired
both portals in that tiny space! that would be.... uhm... kinda dumb.
Dented Trumpet 8. aug. 2014 kl. 19:33
I trapped myself in this map. In between the 2 doors
Acid Regulation  [ophavsmand] 8. aug. 2014 kl. 2:20
I did indeed

Doesn't seem 100% Hammer to me; seems like you used the stylechanger mod to some extent....

sweet ! no problem for stucking ! except a little thing that in the second room (the white room),players can open portals on the "door" which seems unreal.
Acid Regulation  [ophavsmand] 4. aug. 2014 kl. 15:16
thanks y'all. I guess you guys "trapped" yourself in the white room at the end? there is a button which briefly opens the doors so you can get back. problem is indeed that you would have to do quite some work again to get to the same point. but perhaps you should've thought about your portal placements :D thanks for playing!
Tympanista 4. aug. 2014 kl. 14:32
Pretty good map. I got trolled too but only because the lighting didn't load quick enough. I didnt't like starting over every time I made a mistake but I finished it nontheless.
Pebscina 4. aug. 2014 kl. 4:34
I liked it. I think my solution was partly unintended, but I enjoyed the puzzle nonetheless.
ZAEROS 4. aug. 2014 kl. 3:48
Dont understand the complaints, Was a good puzzle and looked just fine to me, Enjoyed a lot, Thank you.
fastgiga 4. aug. 2014 kl. 2:18
Overall I think this puzzle is good. I don't like that, if you make some errors, or if you don't exactly know that to do, you have to reopen the first door again. Some form of checkpoint system, were you don't have to restart complelty would be good...no idea how to do that^^. Keep it up!

thanks!

You can add/remove/modify antlines directly in Hammer. If you need further help, there is a community that can help you:
http://www.thinkingwithportals.com

I get that you are new to Hammer (most newcomers create maps like this) but with some aid from the supplied source, you will get better.

For further reading (not Hammer):

I only used Hammer for custom textures and some entities. I just started working with Hammer two months ago, and I'm not working with it daily. I find it very hard and confusing. I'm just trying stuff out. And which antlines are to be manipulated exactly?

but more important: what did you think of the puzzle?
wildgoosespeeder 3. aug. 2014 kl. 14:36
It seems as though you are using Hammer randomly instead of within reason. There also seems to be material tiling issues with your fizzlers. You have Hammer so why not manually manipulate antlines?

Ultimately, this would work best without Hammer. I would keep Hammer learnings away from the workshop. Post Hammer maps when you reach major milestones.
