But besides those things this guy is great, and I love the difficulty of their campaign state being in spearmaster with all the food pips and short timer. Even if I haven't played the slugcat themselves I have been playing their campaign (and the extra hard version) all day with different slugcats (via unshackled co-op) and I plan to play in it a lot with my friend.

And again, that's all just my opinion. Feel free to disregard if you think it's in conflict with your vision for the mod. (Oh and i almost forgot to mention that this has the best custom art I have seen in any mod yet. I LOVE it. def my favourite thing.)

some suggestions i've seen in the comments that I'll back up is increasing the jump height, even just slightly, as it currently feels awkward in comparison to the rest of the speed boosts to this guy and it actually put me off of playing them (currently giving them a third chance). And also increasing the carry strength to actually be able to carry bodies around a little bit.

As it stands currently, to me at least, the slugcat just feels a bit awkward? while playing i expect to be able to jump higher due to the overall increased mobility, but I can't. And due to the slugcat being a strong warrior I expect to be able to be able to lug around bodies, at least to be able to move them out of my way, but I can't.

Is there a list of all the mods this one has conflict with? Wanna play it but it crashes my game whenever I try to apply it in the remix menu because it has conflict with one of the mods I have enabled and I don't know which one is causing the mod conflict.

If possible, make it so that Warrior can go to Submerged Superstructure, metropolis, and outer expanse so that he has more things to kill (and maybe find peace among the other slugcats, and become like their guardian or something?)

I'm not sure if it has ever been fixed, but i believe its due to her not being able to extract a pearl from your body due to it being Spearmaster world state

@thewolfpack2323 Glad you enjoyed it! I would take it even further if I understood coding better, but as it stands (with the current knowledge I have) this is probably the best I can do :P
Maybe in the future I'll focus on updating it further, there is always more potential for growth :)

TLDR: Cool scug, was more fun then I expected!

Y'know, when I first got this mod I was kinda dreading it considering the fact that the Warrior requires min 15 food pips, but after playing it for a bit, it is actually pretty cool! Their abilities, (3 spears, amazing mobility) makes up for the short cycles and small food pips, and is pretty good practice for fighting larger enemies such as vultures and lizards. The only slight complaint is that the jump is surprisingly small, but that is also made up for with the large amount of spears, which help you spear boost or allow you to climb stuff you couldn't get to before. I always liked how you would have to be strategic with Rivulet, and that paired with a carnivore makes it fun. Overall, pretty good mod! I do kinda wish that you could meet Moon and have different dialogue with Pebbles, but the game play does make up for that. 10/10 mod!

@toilet man that's usually caused by jolly coop and affects all campaigns. go to the jolly coop menu in the top right and set your scug to the warrior before you start the game

every now and then upon a entering the campaign I get spawned in as Hunter or Artificer rather thean The Warrior

The jump feels really weak compared to how fast you move, it almost feels worse than survivor

@lolight if you intentionally invoke a freeze, you can then refer to the exception log in the files to see why it happened, i hope that helps

@Ecderebi I've been a bit busy with making mod showcases so atm I can't focus a lot on this, if someone has the solution I will update the mod though

@h3llo_w0rld Yep, the game freezes whenever a death happens or when you fall in a death pit X.x

You should seek help for this mod and get it fixed.

does the breaking involve freezing when you try to do a specific action?

Yep, unfortunately its presently borked and i dont know how to fix it

Falling off the map or getting speared causes the game to freeze entirely, being eaten by a lizard results in thee ladder getting stuck in it's den, all of the issues persist even if i am playing as a different slugcat, as long as the mod is enabled the issues are there, whenever i disable it, everything works just fine.

so, probably not intentional, but i fought a red centiped and it shocked me until it fell out of the map and i lived, yet a king vulture grabbed me and the game realized i died

also falling out of the map doesn't kill you either???

is it normal to not die from 90 centipedes shocking you?

update: decided to get rid of everything in my inventory (because i had the inventory mod enabled) and the glitching stops, however now im just falling into the abyss. and i cant get to the glowing ball thingy without the game glitching me back to where i was, boowomp

i encountered something thats- really weird
im currently trying to ascend as warrior and when i get to the part where im suppose to go to the funny glowing ball, the game starts glitching out like crazy. throwing me everywhere and glitching me out, at first it was settle not doing it much but currently its just glitching out like crazy and not letting me move anywhere- is there a cause to this???

@Ajackril Yup, that is unfortunately something that cannot be fixed unless I change to a different world state. It is recommended to avoid both iterators during this campaign! Sorry! :S

Fortunately moon is not required for completion so you should be able to get the standard ending anyway ^^

I found a bug where interacting with Moon begins the regular Spearmaster interaction, but immediately crashed after the standard hologram of the slugcat's spiky tail plays. Other than this small issue, this is a lovely yet challenging character that I greatly enjoy playing!
