I think I've managed to fix the mod for the most part. I'm currently testing it atm to check everything still works, and the only issue I've found so far is that the hunting things UI is a bit messed up, but other than that it seems fine. I only have one hero at the start, but from what I can gather, that is meant to be the case, and I am yet to try out the wolfguard units in campaign, but their recruitment landmark exists, and their unit cards exist as well.

This mod has not been updated since Patch 4.2 in February of last year. I do not have any plans to update this mod in the near future as all of its contents was transferred and expanded upon in SCM's Tribes of the North mod, I am currently focused on my main, much larger Hung project, and RAF is mostly retired from modding.

Perhaps in the future, once I've released and fully polished the Hung to the point that I am satisfied with them, I'll return and update this mod as it is a standalone version different from the canon-friendly ToTN version. But I can't make any promises, as I just don't have the time nor motivation to do so right now. Likely, in the distant future when CA stops updating WH3 (and modders won't need to consistently update mods countless times), I'll do one final restorative update so that players can enjoy it in perpetuity.

I cannot recommend enough that you try the Tribe of the Wolf in SCM's mod. It is being consistently updated by the team and includes a wealth of visual and narrative content to enjoy. I am truly grateful for everyone who loves this mod and its standalone lore/characters which RAF and I crafted. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

@MissDevilo Lord/Agent mods are generally more compatible with new DLC and patches in the long term because their data isn't as affected by such updates. Full faction mods, on the other hand, are much more involved with many more tables, scripts, etc. that are easily broken.

I may or may not update this mod once the Hung mod (my current project) is released. To be honest though, since the Tribes of the North mod presents a more polished and balanced version of this faction alongside many other factions, I have a lot less motivation to do so, as it feels redundant.

It's a pity, because your skins look much better than those of the wolfcaln in the complete version - SCM: Tribes of the North. Why not such skins like from the 13. warrior - eaters of the dead - with dark war paint? Greetings

Fair enough on the balance and being lore friendly. Could possibly tuck the Wolfguard in the landmark buildings for limited recruitment in ToN. I loved the tanky front-line wolf themed infantry.

hope theres a submod to bring this version into totn bc huern is an awful name and i wont rant about how following the lore is why there are nothing but boring factions that dont change the world in any way but just sort of sit in it and wallow in misery like every other faction in the game

When I play as Rafford with the Old World mod, Rafford isn't recruitable. I start with a random Lord and I don't see him as a option to recruit. I can recruit Pack Lords, but not Rafford.

Not quite sure if this was reported yet or not, but the Cold-Voider Chaos Frost Dragon has unbinding.

So after completing a monster hunt the fucker just dies 60 seconds into combat. 0/10 wouldn't recruit again :steamthumbsdown:

I think the monster hunter bugs is vanilla based. I'll have to test it.

I'd love to see more unique Norscan factions, btw. This one has some Space Wolf vibes, if you pardon the crossover heresy.

Speaking of Space Wolf-esque fantasy factions, there's one Norscan tribe that'd be cool to see. That's the Icefangs, led by Drenok Johansen. It'd be an anti-Chaos Norscan tribe as Drenok turned on chaos after his father, Johan, was possessed by a demon. There' s a lot of fodder there for content. Part would be killing the demon possessed father in Lustria, If no one else beats me to it, I might have to do it myself. Ugh. Free time. Need free time.

Anyways, fun mod. Yeah, monster hunting is bugged. I think it is just the game itself, not the mod.

Is it intended that Rafford's skin wolf form have significantly lower weapon strength than his human form? Large unit scale, Old World Campaign, if that matters.

Can't remember if I've asked this before; would you consider adjusting the Skinchanger talent to also add the Rage passive to the skinwolf form? Right now, several of his personal talents add things that are redundant to the standard skin wolf package; applying some standard Norscan stuff to the wolf form would be a thematic way of showing his mastery of his dual nature without increasing his combat power by that much.

i am also having the Monster Hunter issue mentioned by JSKoPanda.

After first Monster Hunt is completed, it seems to stay "in progress", and i cant go on to the next one.

Hello, Having an issue where I complete the first frost dragon hunting quest and I get the reward and item but it still says "in progress" and I can't recruit the frost dragon or go on to any other hunting quest, is there a work around for this?

Can confirm that it does indeed crash. Tested with only mixu's unlocker and MCT.

This mod crashes the game on startup after 4.2 patch. Tried only loading Mixer and this one. Crashed.
