Hi folks! Sorry to say I have not been in the PlateUp! modding scene in quite some time, life things have been incredibly busy to put it lightly. Some day I hope to have the spoons to fix everything and maybe add a few QoL features!

As others have said, cheesecake is broken. I've also noticed I got way too many weird card suggestions like different soups and wasn't offered another cake option until day 12.

Hello, I love the mod but I think it has built in priority because this card will always appear as a selection during a run where mains can show up. I can just disable it when I don't want it to appear but would be cool if they were all equal. Thanks.

@Spirit it's on our list of ideas! As I mentioned earlier, we consider Cake for Dinner to be a completed mod, however we're working on a separate mod that will add more cards to base game recipes as well as to Cake for Dinner (and to our next recipe mod mod, coming soon!)

Has anyone suggested "cake with ice cream"? I.e. adding ice cream scoops to cake slices before serving. Might add a more server-dependent element to the mod and increase its breadth of gameplay effects.

@ArchEzekiel thank you for the heads up! we used to have colourblind labels for all of these, but the recent KitchenLib update messed them up. This has been fixed!

It would be incredibly helpful if there was a colorblind text for uncut cakes and plated cake slices, thank you for the fun mod! <3

@Goast Cuard this is unfortunately actually a bug in vanilla PlateUp. IcedMilo wrote a patch fix for that, thankfully, which we've implemented into this mod, however unfortunately it's forced to rely on latency. As a result, it usually works fine for the host of a game, but non-hosts will sometimes see the visual bug you've spotted.

That said, it's only a visual bug! You can still tell if it's the true last slice or not by whether it's lying on its side - a last cake slice will always be on its side, while a visually-bugged cake displaying one slice will always be upright.

idk if this is a conflict with another mod, but the basic vanilla cake has a model error for me with the first slice. It basically makes the rest of the cake disappear except for one slice, until you take another slice, then it works properly again.

@x we consider Cake for Dinner to be a completed mod since we don't want there to be too much added and it become intrusive or anything. That having been said, we have been keeping a list of suggestions we like that could potentially go in a follow-up Cake+ style mod in the future when we have time to work on another!

Hi, first of all I want to say this is an amazing mod. I love this. And as a pastry chef I would love to have more baked goods in PlateUp!.
Are you still developing new recipe ideas? Because if so I have a few in mind.
I'm not a modder myself but would love to learn or just give you guys my ideas.

I have sent a suggestion on the PlateUp Modded dc asking for a new type of process to create new recipes.
Even more complex recipes seem crazy but it could work if mixing bowls were a thing. Add ingredients for 2 cake layers and portion two layers out of the mixing bowl. Balancing is key.

Yes I subscribed to all required mods, I think maybe my other mods are causing this issue. Thank you, this is a very high quality mod.

I absolutely LOVE this mod! Would love more types of cakes and maybe cupcakes and stuff like that, more bakery types of foods, as starters or desserts.

Just did 10 days overtime running all the cakes, had a great time. Great mod, clearly well planned and thought out

this is a great mod and i love it but there should be a 30% customer reduction with the cake card and 15% reduction with other cakes (like it is now) but other than that it's a great mod

Challenging solo, but great modded food. Really love the strawberries box and how it all works. Very happy with this one.
