Just a heads up. It looks like the latest version had the mustBeWildToSow tag removed, unless I'm missing something. This causes the tree to still not show. the <mustBeWildToSow>false</mustBeWildToSow> tag must be explicitly included for the tree to show. Sorry if I'm incorrect on this and it is included!

I thought I remarked that out but maybe I never pushed the update. Anyway, that entry is removed and that should hopefully fix it.

Found out what is causing it. So, in the xml file for the trees there's this line

<mustBeWildToSow>true</mustBeWildToSow>

Which means it must exist in the current map to be sown. When set to false you are able to sow the thrumbo trees.

Hey there! I've unlocked all the required research, but haven't been able to sow the trees - they don't show up on the list of things to be planted. I've researched tree sowing and devilstrand, then the thrumbo tree.

I've tried unsubscribing and resubscribing. Still not working. New run, unlocked tree planting, devilstrand, and thrumbo tree, set a pawn up with 15 plants. Nothing. Looked at the DEFs for plants and there are a couple of lines that are commented out. Do they need uncommenting or will that break something else? Thanks.

They are farmable; please note you require Tree sowing and Devilstrand research before you can research the Thrumbo tree.

Had to unsub/sub (because existing save?) but can now extract (in that same save) - cheers!

Thanks for the report; as they were originally not growing wild there's probably a setting I missed for that. I'll take a look.

Just started a new playthough with this mod included, and naturally spawning trees can only be harvested and not replanted? Is this on purpose? Can it be changed or made an option? Cheers.

Only recently discovered this mod but boy does it need an OP gardener (I edit that down a little). NGL, be fun if there was a chance for it to drop horns as well. Nice to see back in 1.4.
