Nah guys, i don't know whatcha y'all yappin about, 1.6 is LITERALLY just a worse, buggy and leaky as hell 1.5 with SOSH and some other mods. I keep playing 1.5 and getting a better experience, than watching a pig steal my ship engine.

People, your opinion: Why do you think the mod doesn't work on 1.6? What exactly was changed that it stops working and is it possible that the mod is still able to work with a little work?

I am actively losing my sanity without this mod, I know you aren't entitled to update this mod, but if you do, just know you are making a lot of people happier, and at least make one person not mentally insane

I await the update of this mod and the end of the days of dumb raiders running straight into my defenses leading to massive piles of bodies as they trickle in one by one around Death Corner, I crave this mod to be put with More Injuries Continued and Combat Extended to have a truly painful existence. Take however long you need, but I beg of you, please update this mod, I can go on without this but it will never feel as good as the old days...

Smarter Raiders and CAI may share similarities, but I think CAI is overall more advanced when it comes to AI overhaul

CAI creator has been on break for a while, I think this is an old project for them but no abandonment was announced but I can't find any pinned messages on this.

Seems like combat fans for 1.6 would do better with CE and smarter raiders

There is also Smarter Raiders.

Basically a must have for hardcore playthroughs - Without it the NPCs are stale and mindless, a night and day difference between vanilla and CAI

are you guys also starting to think it was just placebo? I mean sure it's doing something, but raiders are still stupid either way and is it really worth the performance hit? Maybe for the fog of war

Love this mod. It gave my playthroughs such a huge sense of tension. I combined it with some trading tweaks so I could buy cameras and generators early on. Would often have a tribal or medieval faction scrounging for components desperately trying to keep the early warning system working.

Thanks for an amazing mod, hope to see it again in the future.

man, I was hoping I could ignore the fact that it was not updated for 1.6 so I spent an hour going through every mod I have trying to figure out which one wouldn't allow me to load the map and turns out it's this mod that did it, literally the second to last mod I was going to check besides Harmony, why must it always be one of the last mods, I hope this mod does update to 1.6 because it is such a good mod.

Peak mod for those who want a harder experience but its a shame it likely wont see a 1.6 release with the new performance upgrades
