if you could add a way to disable this for lvs/lfs aircrafts, that would be pretty useful. having to disable the mod every time i fly an aircraft can get a bit annoying

also, adding a way to "unrestrict" the camera when turning (kind of like gta's vehicle camera system) would be great, ive always hated gmod's default vehicle cam system

Update: yes, it does fuck up your POV until you clear all of your addons. It causes ur screen to be angled sightly diagonally. Only way I could fix it was uninstalling all my mods.

I suspect it might have had to do with me having other camera mods, but its just a guess.

Nice addon! The player seat focused camera always bothered me, and the camera offset helps a lot to re-center it on the vehicle itself.

One suggestion that would really make this perfect to me would be a custom FOV override.

It always feels awkward to me driving with a wide viewangle when most car games don't have that. I always pull out the camera tool to force it to something else, but it would be nice to just have it happen automatically.

I've already stated below why this happens, but looks like I found a solution to filtering out just the vehicle's wheels. Let me know if the last update fixes what you're experiencing.

big fan of this addon, but i've noticed a slight issue- when driving around, sometimes the camera will randomly zoom in extremely close to my playermodel/car, as if the camera is colliding with a wall close to me, but there isn't anything aside from the car model itself. is this just a quirk of how the anti-clipping on it works, and is otherwise unavoidable?

Are you using a simfphys vehicle? There's a possibility that the camera is detecting collision with the wheels or any other object that's attached to the vehicle. Unfortunately, I don't have a proper way to filter out these, so maybe you should just try not to look up to the sky at most times.

The camera just erratically snaps inside the car and back outside the car, as if it was colliding with something inside, but it could just be really sensitive collision with the ground
