This isn't an issue with my mod, looks like Vanilla Expanded.
Tarbarian 2. sep. kl. 7:24
I seem to be running into an error with this mod where it conflicts with some other mods. Running the mod by itself doesn't produce the error, and when I tried to do a binary search through installed mods it also wasn't reproduced, meaning it requires multiple other mods be installed. Sorry I can provide more, but here's my log. I was able to reproduce it with these mods by launching a dev test, saving, and then reloading the save. It doesn't occur on generation, only on loading a save.

Log: https://gist.github.com/HugsLibRecordKeeper/cc94c80ab12a476ff9c8554976e6cb03

Error (right at the bottom of the log):
Could not resolve cross refs: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

@cat2002 I wanted to write an angry comment that nothing works and the game still freezes at the moment of takeoff. But then I remembered that Steam itself does not always update mods, so I unsubscribed and subscribed again and everything worked.:happystar2022:
(The lamentation of an old man: I wasted three weeks trying to figure out which of the 500 mods was breaking my game, and when I found out, it turned out that it had been fixed a long time ago. Damn Steam, damn it.)
Biggie 24. juli kl. 13:45
Lovely stuff, thanks for the fix!
Farbott 24. juli kl. 1:00
A wall version of this would make the strongest setup with VFE-Medical ever lmao
cat2002  [ophavsmand] 23. juli kl. 20:15
I fixed the issue.
Kateye 23. juli kl. 15:06
Just so everyone knows, you don't even need to remove the Life Support building, just turning it off before launching works. It took me a while to run into this bug because I usually have Life Support turned off when it's not needed.
cat2002  [ophavsmand] 23. juli kl. 10:12
I'll take a look into that.
Biggie 23. juli kl. 10:01
Having the same issue as RTOmega
RTOmega 23. juli kl. 3:26
Trying to fly the gravship causes the game to freeze.

Removing the Life Suuport block fixes the issue.
StEligius 15. juni kl. 14:11
the black tile issue is usually due to converting Life Support plus's images to BC7 for Graphics Settings+. delete the optimized images and it should be fine.
Kupie 13. juni kl. 11:10
Don't face it south then :^
Exie 4. apr. kl. 10:15
The entire tile underneath the Life support system turns black if it is placed facing south.
123caboom 3. apr. kl. 11:22
Thx 4 reply anyway
123caboom 3. apr. kl. 11:22
@cat2002 But you could do, that it will do?
:-) Like ingame-optional

Also would it not be nice to have a mobile version, which also gets fueled with med?

Like an consumable, which gets implanted by field doc in a turbo-Operation and causes the same but temporary hediff.
So you win time to rescue a rattling one
|_| Clyax 2. apr. kl. 14:01
@Darian Stephens Good point. I will try it out.
cat2002  [ophavsmand] 2. apr. kl. 13:45
No, it doesn't induce anesthesia.
123caboom 2. apr. kl. 0:53
Can i use this to keep pawns just continuous anaestezised?
Darian Stephens 1. mar. kl. 8:15
@|_| Clyax
I'm pretty sure biosculptor pods act as cryptosleep caskets, so anyone in there should have all their hediffs paused, and if it can heal the injuries for a med cycle, it may be able to save them all on its own.
Otherwise, normal caskets would work, but at least the pod could buy you some time and keep them from bleeding out or something!
|_| Clyax 1. mar. kl. 5:51
Does this or your Death Rattle mod provide compatibility with Biosculptors being able to function as Life Support?
random_ranga 25. jan. kl. 2:06
Just wondering if this is intended to pause "Artificial Coma" hediff from progressing?
Famous5000 2. jan. kl. 5:27
@XIII
apologies for being so late but you need a medical bed so the machine can link properly. If you haven't tried that consider trying that.
XIII 28. sep. 2024 kl. 11:05
it was progressing in my save. pawn died multiple times before i realized whats wrong and what i have to do.
cat2002  [ophavsmand] 28. sep. 2024 kl. 5:21
yeah, it doesn't remove the hediff, just pauses it.
Darian Stephens 28. sep. 2024 kl. 4:00
It felt more to me like it had an 'activation time'.
My pawns would suffer from 'No Pulse', but it would stop progressing after a certain point when hooked up to the machine.
XIII 28. sep. 2024 kl. 2:57
well its not. for some reason "no pulse" hediff wont disappear. I solved this issue by removing it myself and than life support machine wont let it come back. But when i reload save the hediff is back. maybe its my crappy mod list creting tons of errors i dont know. but for me mod is not working
cat2002  [ophavsmand] 27. sep. 2024 kl. 22:23
It should keep them alive indefinetely.
XIII 27. sep. 2024 kl. 22:12
i have death rattle installed and activated (how else i could bring alive pawn without heart?).
But in previous version of this mod life supporter would let my pawns lay without any organs limitless. If this one just extends time to death... well... that kinda useless i think
cat2002  [ophavsmand] 27. sep. 2024 kl. 16:54
@XIII because that's not what this mod does, see death rattle for that, which is linked in the description.
Darian Stephens 27. sep. 2024 kl. 10:37
@XIII
It has worked for me in the past.
Remember that you still need to tend wounds. If they're bleeding out, this won't help.
It also needs to be linked to the bed properly, that's very important.
It also doesn't seem to keep them alive indefinitely, just GREATLY extends the time they have.
You also need Death Rattle installed, or they'll just die regardless.
XIII 27. sep. 2024 kl. 9:49
it doesnt work. I put my pawn that lost heart in a battle and its just diying. Whats the meaning of the mod if i can use it only to harvest organs??? why in the world i would like my organ farm alive??? I want my lethal wounded pawns a chance to live. Not some bum that i use to harvest organs
coo coo 7. sep. 2024 kl. 22:55
cat2002 thank you so so much for updating this mod :D
DigitalCam 1. juli 2024 kl. 1:59
The entire tile underneath the Life support system turns black if it is placed facing south. Seems like a minor texture bug.
cat2002  [ophavsmand] 30. juni 2024 kl. 9:22
It is marked as compatible with 1.5 so... yes?
Darian Stephens 29. juni 2024 kl. 20:06
@rusttgamer420
I've been using it on 1.5 just fine. It keeps pawns alive when it needs to, so that's good.
Nkstu 29. juni 2024 kl. 16:50
Dose it work well on 1.5
cat2002  [ophavsmand] 29. juni 2024 kl. 10:25
What version of death rattle are you using?
TheBronzeWarrior 29. juni 2024 kl. 2:27
dont know if this is intended but putting someone who is already suffering from something like liver failure will not do anything. it is only useful to harvest organs? can u fix? (using death rattle)
Darian Stephens 3. juni 2024 kl. 9:12
And on Pastebin or something, instead of several comments.
cat2002  [ophavsmand] 3. juni 2024 kl. 7:23
Please provide the entire log, not just the errors.
cat2002  [ophavsmand] 30. maj 2024 kl. 9:28
Please provide the log generated using the share log button added by hugslib.
Moissca 30. maj 2024 kl. 3:10
Thank you for your reply.
When I rotating or moving my ship, everything will disappear except the walls and doors when there is a life support on this ship. And when I demolished the life support on it,the ship can be rotate or move correctly.
And the player.log report errors that life support have something deficient and it cause error when SOS2 try to rebuild the ship.
cat2002  [ophavsmand] 29. maj 2024 kl. 13:01
@Moissca, what's the bug?
Moissca 29. maj 2024 kl. 12:46
have a bug when use with sos2,
if the ship have a life support on it ,it will cause bug when move the ship in the map
Anti-Personic Bullet 24. maj 2024 kl. 6:44
loadFolders.xml seems to be missing a tag for 1.5
cat2002  [ophavsmand] 14. maj 2024 kl. 9:53
@Glass Shahk, you probably have an incompatible mod, please post a log generated using hugslib.
QeoJin 14. maj 2024 kl. 9:37
@Morcalvin perhaps you've used Optimize Textures from RimPy on it? Search for the "LifeSupport_south.dds" file in the mod directory then delete it from the "Textures" folder :)
Morcalvin 14. maj 2024 kl. 5:39
The sprite for the life support system doesn't have a transparent background? It's solid black whenever I put it down
Glass Shahk 12. maj 2024 kl. 8:53
Just had a dude die from having their heart removed while on life support. Log says that he died from missing a body part.
Solarius Scorch 26. apr. 2024 kl. 3:49
I noticed that you are missing the 1.5 definition from loadFolders.xml. I don't know if it's an issue or not.
