When DMing my campaign for friends in our irl game I literally have to fight with myself to stay focused on the story I have already written and not branch out to random new ideas while we have yet to finish the one they are actually playing! ADHD and too many ideas I guess. 🤣🤣🤣 I’m looking forward to playing your other campaigns for Solasta for sure!!!!

@BeastHunterX Wow, thank you for the kind words. There is indeed more lore regarding the cult. I tend to create more lore than necessary when I outline so that it's there if I need it. I've kicked around some ideas for a follow-up or sequel. So far, everything else I've done is stand-alone. I get distracted with a new idea and go for it. But it's certainly a possibility.

Thoroughly enjoyed this. Great writing and story. Nice challenging battles. And an interesting world that makes me curious about the behaviors, shenanigans and activities of the cult. What else are they getting into and how to stop them! You could definitely have a whole series based on this well thought out world you have created! Well done!

@ksfeeman Search the eastern wing for a key to the basement. It's hanging on a chain. You have to use ALT to highlight interactive areas of the environment.

I've gone through the entire first level and all I have are four locked doors, which I can't unlock.Is that enough or do you need more?

This has the best narrative work of any short campaign I've played to date.

I do look forward to the new one. Gwydion was nicely rendered and the writing was some of the best. Let's see what you do outdoors.

@charles_watkins Thanks, I hear ya. This is basically a remake of a short adventure I made when there were only 3 or 4 map sets, no npcs, no item descriptions. I could have vastly expanded this story, but I wanted to keep it close to the original with some touch-ups. I do have a level 1-12 campaign baking in the oven, don't have a release date for it yet.

I wish this was longer.

@Hauntofroullete No, not if the sedative is dispersed. It's used incase the player does not have the sedative, as an override. The southern grate drops, but the test subjects are not sedated, so they change from npcs to enemies and rush the party. It looks kind of cool when they do, it made me want to hide the sedative ingredients a little more because most people will miss that step. I had to design a complicated tangle of variables to cover all the bases there.

Does the wall switch in the prison room supposed to do anything? The sign said something about being inactive if the sedative is used. I could not click on it anyway.

I died three times total. The hallway fight when the minotaur spawned behind my wizard. I won the second time I knew it was coming. Last fight I lost twice. Its the air elemntal thats trouble he hits hard. My third try he was missing a lot so I won. If he gets his punches in its over lol.
And also super creative and unexpected ending too, very cool.
