you could clone my mod from the workshop folder its in into your Users\%username%\Zomboid\Workshop folder with a diff folder name, change the mod.info to match your folder name, and use the hierarchy already set up there to just replace stuff this way

that being said black & purple sometimes just can be seen better but i guess it depends on how its done & what used for
Personally only interested in seeing that weird bright color uniforms and the obnoxious patches are removed.
