Mod is not working for me after recent updates.
It is at the bottom of my playlist,
I am playing with the AGOT mod
No other mods(aside from AGOT) that affect the Lifestyles window UI.

The Decision is there, but while taking it "sets the 1:1 variable", it does not make the button appear in the Lifestyles window.

I can confirm your edit works, and make the option appear in the skill tree window. However you want to edit the "to_live_and_learn_decisions.txt" file in the decisions folder of the mod instead of game rules.

Other than that it should work on the current version as of this comment.

- Make sure there are no complications with another lifestyle mods.
- Move the mod further down in your playlist.
- Is the mod activated in the playlist?
- is the correct playlist selected in the launcher?

How is it working for you guys? For me the decision is there but it does nothing. I'm using with AGOT, though.

Also meant to say that I tried and the exchange button wasn’t visible, but hoping it’s just me ;)

Any clue if it works with Princes of Darkness? I guess there is a compatibility issue as there were additional lifestyles added

If the button isn't showing up and you're playing with debug mode on all you need to do is enter this in the console: effect = {set_global_variable = {name = to_live_and_learn_variable value = 1}} and it will activate. At least it did for me.

I got it functioning in 14.2.2 if anyone still needs this to work.

Head to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\2924005232\common\game_rules

(or wherever your workshop folder is)

Open the text file 'to_live_and_learn_game_rules'

Change the command line

picture = "gfx/interface/illustrations/decisions/decision_realm.dds"

to

picture = { = "gfx/interface/illustrations/decisions/decision_realm.dds"}

Save then viola, works fine for me

Hello, great mod. Thank you. Is there any chance that you would be willing to make a compatibility patch for "More Lifestyles" mod? It adds prowess and leadership trees.

I would literally kill for a version of this mod compatible with POD. It's so irritating when you have excessive perks due to blood exp constantly flaring as if you've got a new skill point.

Could there be a version that uses a decision for those who are using GUI mods?

Does the mod require an update following the latest patch?
