I'm not sure yet, I would have to check because I'm not in control of the spawning part, that would be MES. Tbf I have not yet experienced the problem of the planes not spawning but I could try adding in Aerodynamics mod if it indeed causes the problem. Thanks for this info!

Hello! It seems that my latest update somehow broke something. I'm still looking into it but in the mean time, I have reverted the mod. There's a bit of delay, probably a minute or two after restart of a world that the mod would be able to spawn the planes. Kindly wait and then try again.

Spawn Commands dont seem to work anymore.

So, the drones don't spawn on my worlds, and this hasn't been working for some time. Am I missing an unlisted mod? Or did the AI block update screw everything up?

Ah, sadly the behavior of the drone and how they fly are not up to me but to MES which is doing the flying. The drones themselves flies great when used by a human pilot but when it's AI they basically don't know how to bank or use airbrakes so there's that. Maybe someday a new AI especially made for planes is created and the drones can finally fly great.

My bad, I should have worded it better. There is no speed limit but that makes them not work very well. They will infinitely accelerate and constantly overshoot your positions by several kilometers and then miss you again on the way back because they're moving too fast. Would it be possible to add a speed limit, or allow for the option of one so they can control themselves at those higher speeds?

Hmmmm, haven't looked at the speed adjustment yet but I don't remember adding any limit on that so they should be good to go. Glad you're enjoying the mod

The only thing I wonder is if it would be possible to make the drones work with mods that remove the speed limit. Maybe like give the drone a top speed it will maintain, since as of now without the speed limit it will just infinitely accelerate and fly in circles.

Yeah I had to use it for the prop planes but I guess I can try and use plane parts mod instead. I'll see what I can do.

It would be very cool if the dependancy on AWGCWP could be circumvented but I understand if that's not feasible

Tbh I don't know what's happening at this point. The spawning part is handled by MES, all the planes can only be summoned within a certain altitude. Please note that these drones spawn from 5k to 10k away from you with antennas off, so kindly check the entity list first to confirm if they spawned. These drones are for testing radar/detection systems and long range missiles.

I realised that it is not spawning only in the atmosphere. I can spawn them if I use the commands in space.

It only says "chat command spawn request sent" and nothing happens. I'm playing in my creative world and drones are enabled in the worlds advanced settings.

Best thing to do with this
#1 get a good fighter for yourself
#2 Spawn 5-6 of the missile fighters
#3 Play "Kings" from project wingman
#4 Kill them ALL

Check if you have drone encounters enabled in Advanced settings. Also you have to be admin to run the command.

After taking turns with the instructions you provided,only get 'chat command spawn request sent'
then nothing happens,did something wrong?
