is lua for barotrauma properly installed? (there should be red text in the top left of the main menu). If that works, can you try loading a game with just storage icons enabled and try using the storageicons command? If you still need help, can you respond in the "help" discussion I created?

@Forest you cant anymore as far as I know, one of the updates changed it so that containers can only go in the special slots now

i think u overestimate the amount of work i put into verifying that it works, i didn't test it until the day I sent that cuz I was going to play baro anyway (It's quite common for people to say mods break when they don't, especially for dependency updates like lua in this case)

Hitilit, in the console, do the lua for barotrauma init messages show up? If not, they probably installed lua for barotrauma incorrectly. If they do show up, is this mod in the list of loaded lua mods? They can also try using the command "cl_reloadlua" to reload it and see the messages again.

Yes. I play with my friends. Built a complete collection with my own mods.
Lua client they also put themselves. The command "storageicons" on F3 only works for me. They have nothing going on.

Hitilit, do they all have the mod installed themselves? This is a client-side mod, so it does not automatically download when joining a server with it.

OcN.Heibrecht, have you tried adding it with the storageicons command? Just typing storageicons into the console (F3) and it will show you a list of commands to configure it with (including adding items to the whitelist)
