Nvm, looked at source code, it uses ButtonAction.ACTION_DROP so I can just remap that.

I just realized it's because ctrl isn't registered on crossover !! Is there a way to change the controls?

ctrl+r works with porting kit but not crossover, The ui works fine in both. Is there a way to debug this?

Since I haven't seen a single message about this...

FYI, The mod cannot be used on Steam Deck. For some reason, the mod menu does not open and the key combination to restart with the mod does not work too.

This is true when using controller, but other mods able to get keypresses in controller control mode (like 'L' key to open menu in ModConfig mod)

@Claytomesh Not really it's using an in game mechanic that you can do manually easily. If anything it's a quality of life for speeding up the process

Hey! I've been using the mod for a while now and I really enjoy it. Do you think it would be possible to add an option for tainted Eden's starting item just like you did for Eden? Or if anyone wants to help me do the change myself, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again anyways :D

i dont get the itemID high/mid/low part... i know the items have a itemID from the item list shown in the website but im pressing in theese numbers but it never rolls that item. just keeps restarting?

@Jesus you will need to turn off FindTreasureRoom first, otherwise it will stop when treasure room OR eden item is found, the latter is at lower chance.

i think you must make restarts until 4 tier treasure items, cuz i use 4 tier treasure restart and alway got smth like wafer or pyromaniac

Replace the file in steamapps\common\The Binding of Isaac Rebirth\mods\restart_until_special_room_2917382429

Replace the number in the file with the itemID of your choosing.
For example for blanket:

Overall it's a good mod! but for some reason today it stopped restarting as fast so I tried to fix it and found out the specialist dance for good items mod and the POG for items mod are both not compatible with this mod anymore for some reason

character that start whit an active item loses it, isaac loses his d6, kepper loses his wooden nickel etc. (maybe you hsould add a config option to turn off the rewind, for people who dont like this update). btw your mod is AWSOME

tainted characters lose their pocket item after new update when the rewind happens, as blue baby don't have hold etc

UPDATE: for fairness, we will now rewind back to the starting room if the target room is Planetarium or Library (which consume keys) or the EntireFloor mode is enabled (target room may not be a neighbor of starting room).

@Kaebrezal Are you in the first stage? R button is only enabled in stage 1 to prevent being mistakenly triggered.

I'm not sure why it's not working, but I tap R to open the menu and nothing happens at all
