Mod author abandoned the mod? or is this being update?

Hi, I came across a peculiar Crash

Unhandled exception C0000005 (EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION) at address 0x00007FF67C8CDBA5

This occurs whilst ingame, so first and foremost i love the concept, i have the base game and have my own custom MOD within the game which shouldn't effect any of the code within this mod as there are no overwrites. As well as Real Space (could be an issue here). I also have a few of the Modjam Crisis 2022 mods installed, i am not using Stellaris 4.0 i am running Stellaris 3.12 (held back to most of the updates)

I forced ran the crisis by using effect begin_crisis_scluster after 180 days the game then crashes or freezes and the above error occurs.

I tested this many times one play through i never use the effect and it went past the ingame date of the crash. Once i used the effect it crashes exactly 180 days.

Let me know what i can do to fix this?

WARNING: The upcoming Cosmic Storms DLC seems likely to break this mod, and require some amount of rewriting to get it working again, since the galaxy-wide space storm is being removed and replaced with smaller DLC-only storms. I advise you not to start games with this mod near the release date.

@thetruerift @lotoran the Deep Sleepers don't spawn with the Cosmogenesis perk, you must have another mod overwriting the cosmogenesis tech to remove the AP requirement.

The cosmogenesis thing happened in my multiplayer game and my friend’s game as well. We were very confused. I guess the fallen empire in the cluster spawns with the perk.

So I am noticing now (3.12) that as soon as the storm cluster appears, it seems to trigger about a half dozen of the Cosmogenesis techs that alter reality, which suddenly applies a bunch of potentially serious bonuses and penalties to the galaxy

Shortly inspected, should be fine with 3.12 (except for the still lack of use 'every_playable_country' and 'any_system_colony')

I've found some time to work on this again, so an updated version for 3.10 that adds astral scars to the Storm Cluster (DLC permitting) is now in testing.

FYI the 3.7 update for this mod should be out in the next couple of days, I just finished rebuilding the cluster creation algorithm to take system spawn chances into account and enabled a few more systems (now with enclaves!), I just need to triple check everything before I push.

@Boy McFacto It should work just fine! The Modjam mod is only needed to prevent conflicts if you're trying to run more than one modjam crisis.

@eny30 Using the Galactic Doorstop origin makes it 100x more likely for a wormhole to the Storm Cluster to spawn in or near your home system!
An origin starting inside it wouldn't really work though, since it doesn't actually get generated until midgame.

@ShinyNobody If you activate the mod before starting the game you don't need to do anything else, it should eventually happen on its own some time after the midgame date. If you're adding the mod to a game that already in progress, you'll need to use the "effect set_global_flag = scluster_allowed" command. The rest of the commands are just for anyone who wants to force-spawn it early.

@Decimatarius Does using the "effect add_seen_bypass_type = wormhole" console command fix the issue?

@Jack_Hazardous They do not awaken, their main purpose is to block the central system and make it harder for any one empire to survey and own the whole thing. I may update the mod to give them a few few events after MODJAM is over, but that wasn't a priority for the limited timeframe of the contest.

@CTH2004 [code]effect begin_crisis_scluster = yes[/code] will fire it, although it won't spawn in immediately. If there's no space storm currently active, it'll begin a storm first and then spawn the cluster 6 to 18 months later. If a space storm is already active (you can start one with [CODE]effect event_target:global_event_country = { country_event = { id = galactic_features.401 } }[/code]), it should spawn within a month.
