I guess events should be checked because on the Sultanate of Rum, when you come to after 1100 A.D its giving bug and crashing game. Mostly I had 1140 A.D you cannot move to the next turn. Thanks

Getting a strange bug on the faction selection screen before starting a new campaign. Clicking any faction other than England or France causes the menu to go "wonky", with the map disappearing and the buttons overlapping each other so that it's hard to click anything. It's still somehow possible to click the "play" button and start the campaign in this state, but that's basically the only way out of the menu at that point. I can confirm this is only happening with the submod enabled.

@Fingolfin369 With the latest patch that I uploaded a week ago the submod is playable again. Will be updating it with all the new factions soon-ish.

So somehow I fix it. I replace the kirski files on the chivalry. Some complicated works and at the end its work. By myself by my way but I can play now :D currently over 250 turns.

Can you update please. I was playing Selcuk of Rum. I played like over 100 turns. But somehow it crashed after some turns over 100. I tried many times on the same turn but same error. Can you help please?

Ok it worked, but unfortunately the game I last saved (even by putting the exact same mods) is unable to load me a file.
I was on turn 20 with the Byzantines and it was really hard to get there.

Update... Manually deleted all my total war filer and downloads. Reloaded the game, your mod plus base mod. I am not into battle #7 with HRE... Must have been on my side. Will keep you posted

With the HRE and England. I have other mods installed but they are not checked/used. Latest with the HRE and Flanders attacks in the first few turns. I move all extra troops towards the capital and then to attack the siege army. I defeat that army and it moves away I then use the army in the city to chase down that army before it can get back to a city. Then it crashes.

Your mod loads first and then the standard map 2nd... Is that correct load order?

I am getting battle crashes too. Have reinstalled everything a couple times. Can fight the first battle, but always crashes on the next one. Auto Resolve is a no go. Decimates my army every time. Any thoughts @Atromboniste

@UncleAnon, yes, the update is not save game compatible, unfortunately.
@Calradius, Does vanilla rome work fine for you? And the standard version of the mod? Battles work fine for me so the issue could be somewhere else.

On what difficulty you played? I tried it on normal and still feels very hard, we are the new "Western Roman Empire"
Where do you focus your troops?
How many enemies you have?
Did Antioch revolted in your factions name as well?

@Atromboniste, I tried the Byzantine Campaign and all the battles are fine (and I am using Extended map).
The thing I woirry is that as the Byzantines we have way too much foes, just in anatolia we have like 3 or 4 turkic speaking factions.
In the north of our magnificent Empire, we have the Bulgarians then the Hungarians, the Sicilians are interested to join soon. We even start at war with Cilician Armenia.
Then, I stopped counting the number of enemies, the question was more "Who is not at war with us, Greeks?"
Was it really necessary to make the faction starting with a deficit/debt? Thats the final nail in the coffer, wel oose precious time..

Campaign movement points can be changed (applies to all unit types) in descr_character.txt
starting_action_points

You can use Dagovax's RTW Multiple Turns Per Year tool (you should be able to find a link from the Rome Remastered github) to generate a TPY script, then enable that script in descr_strat.txt. It might lead to weird stuff if there's scripted events in Chivalry based on turn number though.

Hi! Is there any plans on adding more factions in the future, such as Volga Bulgaria, Croats, Bosnia and Sweden to name a few possible additions. I don't know however, if all of them were present at the start date of this campaign. Great mod anyway, really like.

@Buford It will need to be a modified version since in the middle ages new cities had appeared and old ones decayed, that said without Indian units there no point adding india, it will just be a giant rebel area. Perhaps once we get Indian factions in we can consider it.
