While technically it isnt restricted, you have to get to a certain prestige level, and it takes absolutely forever to get the proper amount of prestige and piety to convert the people when you migrate.

@Alligator Thank you for the suggestion, but the idea behind this mod is to make migrations as unrestricted as possible. The AI can not make use of the casus belli anyway and you can simply choose not to use it as well.

I like to use it as a way to start a new game within a still running game, which is also why it is not tied to a government form.

I'll tell you what, it just seems strange to me that the holy roman emperor is willing to migrate to some god-forsaken land in iceland. If the player has the chance to customize the gamerules using the mod, and if he has the choice to have this mod be more or less restricted, I think the mod will be more fun.

@ILVIUS I'd like to keep the mechanic as unrestricted as possible.

@Kareo You can keep upgrading the migration you started over several generations without negative side effects. You can not cancel the story cycle, but you can simply not use the CB.

is there any way to abandon a migration? a took the decision by mistake, and i keep the migration active, even after inheritance^^'

@Ramuné there is no cusus bailey. I thought the problem was related to the Asia Expansion mod, but even when I double-checked without this mod, there was still no cusus bailey.

could this be disabled for feudals depending on culture? its weird to be the duke of austria in 1066 getting to migrate. I think it would make sense that all tribals can do it, but only feudals of a culture with horselords, malleable invaders or steppe tolerance can do it.

The new update added decisions which will upgrade the migration casus belli in several ways. For instance, you may now target entire kingdoms instead of a mere duchy. Increasing cultural acceptance and converting the culture / faith of some of your newly conquered counties are other benefits that can be unlocked.
