@Guineatown20806 Oh, they're compatible. The character portraits and names are on seperate spritesheets, both referenced by the anm2 file!

Thanks a lot :steamthumbsup:! Also the names are compatible with "Vanilla Epiphany Portraits" by Reixen. I expected this to not be the case, since tainted names mods and tainted potraits usually overide each other so the other one doesn's work, depending on the load order.

Small visual bug. The tarnished name of Judas and "Judas" overlaps. Probally because he got reworked.

I doubt this is the place to ask that, this is just a fanmade mod addon.
Likewise, try resetting until a sacrifice room appears on the first floor. That seemed to work for me.

I don't mind the fact that it's not "the ____" like the tainted characters, it fits the more surreal feel that a lot of the tarnished characters have when you unlock them

It's just that the official subtitles of the Tarnished characters don't follow a "The ..." format; they instead just indicate the theme of the character. For example, Tarnished Isaac's theme is Sacrifice because he sacrifices items when he uses his Blighted Dice

these are not really names these are just words describing the characters i think these need to be changed to something like "the ___" like the normal tainted characters
