Okay guys, i lied. One last gene has been added. But more importantly:

All parts now show what body part they affect in the description of the gene. Hooray! No more super long and annoying mod description.

Would it be possible to get Facial animation and Faces of the Rim as just links on here that redirect to their pages? Having them marked as required on steam throws up errors with Rimpy and in game.

it seems the multipliers for "Icarus Speed" were inputted incorrectly, instead reducing move speed by 50% and dodge by %10. changing the def from .50 and .10 to 1.50 and 1.10 fixed it

@Mr. J "Soda": I installed Alpha Genes and was unable to replicate this problem. When putting things like AG Pegasus Wings and CGP Angel Wings together, the game randomly chose either one instead of overwriting the angel wings. Possibly a mod issue on your end.

So, I think I found a error with this mod and Alpha genes, It looks like all cosmetic genes from this mod are overridden by Alpha genes that have functionality, like AG Gas Bags and CGP Angel Wings.

Then I guess it's time for me to get mad. I started to notice that every modded gene that is supposed to add a cosmetic around the eyes slot does not work. Not only yours.

There are weird things happening with my game for sure, I'm good to try to reinstall some mods too, maybe the game itself.

May I ask you one last favor ? I would you to test something for me, since your game apparently works better than mine. Would mind testing the two following mods : "OOPS all bug parts" and "Alpha gene", then try to add genes like "moth eyes" or "feralisk eyes", and see if it make any cosmetic change (with [NL] Facial animation activated of course).
I'm asking that in order to be sure if it's a global thing or only with your mod :lunar2019deadpanpig:

@Anonymoussse Unfortunately, I don't know what to tell you. Just to be sure, I uninstalled and reinstalled the the face mods and my own mod. I then tried the same load order as you, along with a few other combinations, and I just can't get anything wrong to happen, everything works as intended. The log you sent me doesn't actually show any errors or problems either, and no one else has reported any problems.

I can confirm that the eyes cosmetics does not work with Facial Animation and / or Facial Animation + Faces of the rim.
I ran the game with just Core, the 3 dlcs, harmony, facial animation and your mod and it was not working:

Since you have screenshots on the page that definitely shows the mod working, maybe it used to work but maybe an update from Facial animation or from Rimworld broke it.

So I would not consider them as "optional" for the moment :/

Keep in mind that wearing certain things on your colonists head like broadwraps, visage masks etc will hide certain body parts. That may be whats happening.

@Anonymoussse : I just ran the mod with only core and Biotech and it seems to be working fine for me, it would most likely be some kind of mod conflict on your end. Unfortunately with no log output theres nothing I can recommend except to try disabling some mods. This mod is rather lightweight, it doesn't mess with pawn rendering at all and instead utilizes the same methods Biotech does so it should be very vanilla friendly.

I don't know why but I can't get the eyes cosmetics to work.
I have [NL] facial animation and Vanilla texture for it.
I to change this mod place in the load order, nothing changed. I tried with Vanilla texture removed, nothing changed. I tried without [NL] facial animation, nothing changed.

I see nothing in the log. Do you have any idea on why it could not work ? Or maybe faces of the rim is a hard requirement ?

Update removes the usefulness from wings and appendages and introduces useful genes meant to be used with them instead, manipulator and icarus speed. This was done so you can have multiple types of wings without getting compound negatives from multiple wing types.

Update also adds a new category that all the genes in the mod are under for easier categorization.

The two appendages have: -Manipulation x125%

The wings have: +0.5 move speed, +0.1 melee dodge chance

The demon tail is +5% manipulation
